Update: The war between my cousin and I is over. We're both in agreeable terms. And the whole situation is kinda resolved. There was another problem from this outcome. My cousin went to buy the cd I wanted. I didn't know, and thinking that no one will buy me the album, I went to buy one for myself, since there was a sale at HMV. So after finding out, I tried to get a refund at HMV today, but to no avail. They said it's company policy that refunds are not allowed. Like what the?? Couldn't they have made some exceptions??? The cd was still in good condition. For heaven's sake, the damn cd was still wrapped up in the plastic wrap. But still, they refused. The guy who served me was nice enough to try his best to convince even the manager to get me a refund, but his efforts were put to waste. The did, however, have an exchange policy. Get another cd instead, and if it costs more than the one I've got, then I'll just have to pay the difference. No problem I thought, just find another cd. But all the cds I wanted weren't available. And others cost way more than what it should. I mean, don't ever buy imported cds from HMV unless it's on sale, 'coz HMV charges way too high. Like an imported cd could cost between $27 - $45 at HMV, whilst Borders sells it between $18 - $22. See the price difference?? So yea, in the end, I couldn't find any other cd to exchange with, so I didn't exchange it at all. I mean why bother exchanging for another cd you wouldn't even like?? Doesn't make any sense right??? I just hope that HMV looks through their so-called "company policies" and make some changes to some of them for exceptions such as mine.

It came to my attention that my cousin still reads my blogger. She read my last entry and sent me an email explaining what happened. I know you're reading this but I'm going to say it anyway. The email she sent me made it sound like I was in the wrong; accusing her of not trying to get me a gift for Christmas. Her reasons were that she was sick and/or holidaying. Yes, she wanted to get me a cd, but she thought it wouldn't be much of a surprise 'coz I "hinted" that I wanted it before. But, I mean, if she couldn't find me anything else, might as well get me the cd right? Nevermind the cd, the thing is, if she had gotten me a hair net, I'd be mad too. That'll just mean that she doesn't know me at all. She's like my kid sister. I grew up with her, bathed with her, slept next to her, ate with her. She should know me by now. My quirks, my moods, my likes and dislikes, my personality, me. It just hurts to find out how little she knows me. It hurts.

Christmas this year sucks.
Christmas is all about eating great food, talking and gathering with people you love, singing carols, exchanging presents. Like that old guy in that Christmas show says, "Bah Hummbug!!". The food this year wasn't all that great. I didn't do much talking with my cousins. And, I was supposed to exchange presents with my cousin. I bought her something she loves, but she didn't even get me anything. Know what she told me on the phone??? "I told you, I'll get you something if I can find anything." Well, obviously you haven't been looking!!! I'm not mad about not getting a gift from her. I'm mad that she didn't even try. No "I wanted to get you this but I thought you wouldn't like it" or something like that!!! Nothing!!! Argh...she makes me so mad sometimes. Like I'm busy with work and all, but at least I made an effort of looking for a gift for her. I mean, she's my close cousin!!! I would take the time to look for a gift for her 'coz I care!!! Now I'm having second thoughts about getting her something next year. It's not the money, it's not the gift, it's the thought and effort of getting a gift. It's all about the heart. Obviously, she doesn't have one. Sorry to say that, but I'm just so mad at her.
But Christmas at my friend's house on the 22nd was a blast. I finished work at 7:30pm so they all waited till I got there, which was sweet of them. Anywayz, they had everything from turkey to chicken to potato chowder to ham. All the Christmasy kinda foods. We had a feast I tell you, a feast. The ham was so good, I think I ate a good half of it. Don't worry, there were 2 'coz it was the small sized kinds. But oh how it was oh-so good. We all ate so much that we could puke at any time. After the food, came the exchanging of presents. We all drew lots to see who got whose presents. The host got mine which was a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates and a candy cane. I got a box of cigars. Like what the?? What's more, I was one of the few there who didn't smoke!!! So in the end, I gave the smokers a bigar each for later usage, but of course I kept one for myself as a souvenier. It was such fun that night. Made a few new friends and ate my fill, what more could a girl ask for? Sometimes I think friends are all you need. Anyway, Merry Christmas again!!!

It's been so long since I've last posted an entry. ALOT has happened...
Today, I saw Thomas Ong. Some TCS 8 actor who was really famous last time. He is HOT. Gawd... Haha... Also, I saw Terence from Living With Lydia, the sitcom. He plays Billy B. Ong's son on the show. He's way cute. Fell head over heels for him after watching the first episode of LWL. Okay...maybe I'm over exaggerating, but yea, I think he's cute. No, let me correct that. He's waayy HOT. Haha... His 2 friends came into the shop I worked in, but he stayed outside talking on his mobile phone. Damn it... Haha... But yea, he's just an eye candy. Don't wanna be disappointed like before. Not again.
I got attached. Now broken off. It only lasted 4 days. It's a looong story. Only close friends would hear about it. Or at least the ones I keep in contact with often. But yea, it's a super loong story and waay complicated. Why 4 days? Well, on the first day, we made out. I wasn't too sure if I liked him or not. I thought, hey, I could wait and see what develops. But on the 4th day, I realised that I never was attracted to him, emotionally or physically. It was, I guess, just a fling. For fun, to say the least. I'm not proud of what I did. 'Coz I know I'm not like that. I'm not cheap. I don't just go around kissing every boy I meet. That'll just be dumb. But this was a different. I wanted to get my first kiss over and done with I guess. I've always fantasized that my first bf would be the man of my dreams. But my ex proved me wrong. Now, my first kiss, this guy proved me wrong. It wasn't exactly how I would've planned it out to be. I didn't think I'd be giving away my first kiss to such a jerk, and in a club!! Gawd..this is so not me. And he's so not my type. Too...chin-a. I've got nothing against Chinese guys, don't get me wrong. I'd just prefer a guy who I can talk with at the same level. It's hard to talk to someone who has difficulty understanding what I'm talking about. I mean, communication is very important between a guy and a girl to make a realtionship work. THAT and love of course. Money...well, that's just a bonus if he has alot. Money's not an issue with me. Just hanging with the guy I love will be as fulfilling as an expensive dinner at an expensive restaurant, probably even better. This is me, I'm simple yet complicated. Yea so I'll try to keep you guys updated with what's going on in my life. As soon as I have the time, 'coz my work is getting in the way. But yea, it's ending soon. So I'll have more time for myself soon. See ya peepz. Keep it cool...
