I got this e-mail that had me thinking...

1. Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?
2. Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?
3. Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?
4. Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
5. Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?
6. When dog food is new and improved tasting, who tests it?
7. Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?
8. You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!!
9. If con is the opposite of pro, then is Congress the opposite of progress?
10. Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

And another part of it is about America...

1. Only in America......can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
2. Only in America......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions, while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
3. Only in America......do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.
4. Only in America......do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.
5. Only in America......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
6. Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Sheesh...and only people who have too much time on their hands send e-mails like these. Haha, fun to read though.

Lalalalalalalalala...
Die! I'm so dead. So dead in fact, that you can smell my corpse from a mile away.

Common tests are next week and I haven't even begun my studying process. I don't even know what chapters I'd be tested on. Know what I've been doing these past few days? Hmm...let me enlighten you. When I wake up, usually around 1:30pm, I wash-up, change then eat my breakfast cum lunch. What do I eat? My meal consists of 8 slices of plain white bread and super chunky peanut butter. After which, I start on peanuts. Like the chunky PEANUT butter wasn't enough peanuts to last me a lifetime, I had to continue with the peanut fest by eating actual peanuts! My gawd, what's wrong with me?? I'm describing my meals to you guys. Someone slap me. Okay, no don't. I think I'm just bored. All I do is eat and watch tv the whole day and night. Then I go online till 4am plus, sleep by 5am, then wake up the next day at 1:30pm. Then start the whole cycle again. I'm sick. I need help. I need motivation to study. I need someone to drag me outa my bed, and out of the house. Bring me somewhere secluded and make me study. Can someone kidnap me?

Ps, if you do kidnap me, bring me back by sunday k? 'Coz I have a test the next day. Thanks!

I went to a bbq last night. Had quite a blast. We drank, and no, I didn't get drunk. Not even high. Damn... But one girl DID get mighty drunk. So drunk in fact, that she went out of it and hit her head on a stone wall, ouch. She was sitting upright, then she suddenly lost conciousness and dropped back. The hit the stone wall pretty hard too. You can actually hear a "thud" sound when her head hit the wall. Now she has a bump on her head, poor thing. Anyway, it was hard for us to get her down from the stone wall; like a pier. She was talking aimlessly and playing with her phone. She didn't even know what she was doing; sending blank smses to people. So yea, it was like a negotiating thing, we had to calm her down and ask her to get off the stone wall, 'coz on the other side is a big drop into the sea. So now you can see why we were eager to get her off. After much negotiating, the guys just decided to carry her down. And when she sat on the sand, she slowy laid down then suddenly puked. She went unconcious after that and rested on her own puke. Gross, I know. We tried to clean her up, but then she suddenly awoke and sat up. That's when she started to babble, then fell back and hit her head on the stone wall. She was unconcious by then, so we didn't know if she felt that. But yea, the whole story is really long but that's basically what happened. The highlight of the evening. Girl gets drunk, girl babbles aimlessly, girl goes unconcious, girl pukes, etc. Actually, there were alot of highlights last night, but too many to tell. Lazy to tell. You just had to be there. So yea, tt's it from me today. Aurevoir!

A shout out to all the FSV people I worked with these past 2 days: Nice working with you guys. I had loads of fun. I enjoyed the experience, and see ya guys in school!

Now back to my life... :(
Freaking common test is just a week away. Help!!! I'm so dead, I haven't been paying much attention in class this semester. What am I talking about??? I haven't been paying attention in class all year!!! Last year, thankfully, I only failed one module. Now, I MUST pass that damn thing and all my other modules, esp PP1. PP1 is actually C++ programming. It was fun at first, but after awhile, it got boring and 'coz we have to use our laptops, I end up just putting on my ear-phones and blasting the music while surfing the net. Gawd, I'm such a slacker. I have no idea what I'm going to do. Yes, I know, study... But, gawd, I hate this course. Despise it to the max at times. Sure, some of the topics are fun, but it's as often as a blue moon. What to do? I can't just throw my first year away and do another course. It's a waste of time and money. Plus, my parents are not too keen on me wasting another year. I actually intended to do Mass Comm, but my O level points didn't allow me to qualify. My dad did, however, bring up a good point. If I stop my current course and start on Mass Comm instead, will I enjoy the new course??? What if I don't? I can't just juggle courses. Gosh, my life's a mess. I just want to stop studying, it's not my thing. I just want to enjoy life to it's fullest. But living in Singapore doesn't allow me the freedom to do that. Why? 'Coz in order to survive in Singapore, you need money, and money is earned from a job. And a job would be acquired when I have the education, thus, needing me to study. Screw Singapore's education system and living style. I hate it.

I've finally got a new discman!!! Just bought it this evening. $200 buckaroos man... Actually, the discman only cost $165, the head-set I got with it cost $35. Anyway, it's super nice. I went all over to find the design I liked. Hard to decide too... Colour, features, battery life span, cost, etc. Haha, so nice, lurve it. Now I'm thinking if I should give my sis my old one. I had to replace it in the first place 'coz the anti-shock is spoiled. Anytime you bump it, the cd jumps. And it's so not nice when you're listening to your fav cd and the bloody player keeps skipping. Makes the singer sound retarded. But yea, it still works, just not very well. If I give it to my lil' sis, I have to replace the ear-phones too. 'Coz the cap of the ear-phones is cracked a little, so it tends to come out when you yank the ear-phones out of your ear. So yea, I think I'll do that. She has an Avril Lavigne cd, which I gave to her, 'coz I bought an extra one when Avril was in town. Remember I went for her autograph session? Yea, I forgot to bring my damn cd!!! So yea, I bought another, asked her to sign on the cover, then gave the cd to my lil' sis. She can play it with the discman whenever now, I think she'll love the idea. Can't wait to tell her, see ya guys!

I never knew that my school was so funky.

It's the first day of the Open House. And they have a CCA fiesta in the Octagon which is just this big plot of space that's fully conditioned. Btw, it's freezing!!! Well, it looked like one of those exhibition you see in IMM. But, the music played overhead was well chosen. Oook...maybe most. At one point of time, they started to play some Chinese Wayang shit. Mann... That's why I'm on my comp listening to Off By One, a new band I've just found out about. Anywayz, a friend of mine is tending to her CCA booth, and I have like 2 hours to waste so I decided to check this place out. My gawd...surprisingly there are tons of people! I even saw two of my crushes aka eye candies. One's already attacted, damn it, but still...cute. I think I've mentioned about him before, can't remember. So yea, the attached one is tending to his CCA booth too. The other one, not sure if he's like me, being an extra, nothing better to do so hang out at the booth. But yea, he's cute too. Gawd, good thing I came, I haven't seen them in quite some time. I was just thinking about them today. No...not the way you think. As in, I was thinking "hmmz...haven't seen them for quite some time" kinda thing. But yea, got to see them. So cute... Anywayz, gotta do some homework now. Have to submit today!!! Kay, bye!

I realised something about me and guys. It's weird that I only realised it today. I'm not attracted to "good" guys. I dunno why, but I guess the "bad" ones always appealed to me more. I guess maybe the goody-two shoes are never as fun as the naughty ones aka wild ones. I guess they're more predictable. They follow the rules, decent in everyway, and that's so not me. I guess they won't be able to keep up with me and my lifestyle. I'm like a free spirit, I need my space, I need my freedom. I like to have fun, and I'm quite open to alot of things. Not saying that nice guys are not fun, just that their fun is more conservative than much. I guess being a baddy is also mysterious in a way. Not knowing what's going through their minds makes me wonder. It intrigues me I guess. I'm strange, I know, that's why I need someone who's even stranger than me. Someone who's not afraid to express themselves in more ways than one. Their looks, their personality, their image. The whole package. It's like, when I notice a guy, it's usually 'coz of the way he presents himself. Like if a guy wears something nice that hangs well on him, I'd probably notice him more than another guy who might wear something that's not. It's not all about dressing. I'm not that shallow. It's just that, I would notice a guy more if he dressed well. NOTICE, not like. It's different. Also the hair, important thing. This all comes under "image". But it's just to make me notice people.

It'll be the same case for guys noticing girls. If there are 2 girls walking side by side, one of which wears a tube top and a mini skirt, and the other, T-shirt and jeans. Of course the first girl will get noticed first, maybe even more than the other. It's all about image. But image is just the first impression. Personality always comes next. The guys I'm attracted to, so far, are guys who are very open-minded. We click well, conversation wise. But it doesn't all depend on clicking well. It also depends on the attraction. Chemistry, as some may call it. Attraction plus compatibility. A guy's looks and personality must match the girl's. Personality, not so much sometimes; opposites do attract. But looks, always. I talked to a good friend of mine the other day. He asked what kinda personality I look for in a guy. I listed a whole lot. He said this phrase that kinda hit me. "He sounds perfect.", he said. Which is true. I mean, which girl doesn't want a perfect guy to spend their life with? Or, in some cases, just spend their youth with. Personally, I don't think my expectations are that high. They're clear and simple. It's everything I want in a boyfriend. Nobody's perfect, I know. But having low expectations will attract the wrong guys. Some of which, I have already been with, or met. I do not think I'm very beautiful. I do not think I'll make the perfect girlfriend. I know this, 'coz I know myself. I just want to find my match, and hope it will be soon.

I'm in need of ALOT of sleep..

I didn't sleep at all on Friday. Spent all night awake, talking to friends and playing mahjong. Haha...so fun. I tell you, you MUST learn to play mahjong, it's super fun. I've always thought mahjong was a game for aunties and uncles, and never knew it could be so fun. I lost most of the time, and when I did win, I won like 20 cents??!! How pathetic ya? 'Coz I'm still a beginner and I dunno how to game BIG. So yea, still learning. But it's really really...really fun!

So yea, friday was Valentine's day. No one asked me out so I went to a friend's singles' party...at Yio Chu Kang. What the??? That's like super far mann... Anyway, we played PS2 too. PS2 is Play Station 2 if you didn't get what I mean. So yea, the whole night we were up talking, playing mahjong and PS2. Doesn't seem like much to you, but it was really fun. At 3am, we went to Jalan Kayu. It's supposedly famous for Roti Prata. We walked all the way, for like 20 mins!! It's like damn far. So yea, when we finally reached there, I ended up eating 4 kosong roti prata. Yes, 4. Hey, I was starving okay?? And people who know me well enough, know that I'm an eataholic. I live to eat... Yea, so then after that scrupcious meal, we decided to take a cab back 'coz we were too bloody lazy to walk all the way back. When we got back, we played PS2 then mahjong then back to PS2 again. I rule at this fighting game mann... After the last game of mahjong, I suddenly played so well for PS2. I kept on winning but my index and middle fingers on my right hand cramped up after the last game, so I gave up. Whilst 2 other guys were playing PS2, I fell asleep on the coffee table. I only got to sleep for 10 - 15 mins before they woke me up to leave for school. Yes, school. I have school on Saturdays. How sucky is that?

Anywayz, we left the house at 7:30am? Reached the bus stop at the main road at 7:50am. Yes, we walked the whole way. I had to go home first to get my laptop. And my class started at 10am, plus, I had a test that day, which btw, I failed and have to re-take another time. So yea, after the test, I spent a little time talking with a friend in school then made my way home where my bed awaited my arrival. When I got home, I ate abit before retiring to the comforts of my bedroom. I had already showered before going to school so I just collasped on my bed and slept till 11 plus at night. It was a long nap, I admit, but I was still so tired. So at 1am, I slept again. Then the next morning, which is today, I woke up at 10:45am to go to work. Work was fine I suppose. I did most of the bigger sales, but it was a slow day, so it was boring. Spent most of the time snacking. I tell you, I'm going to get fat at this rate. Btw, my left eye's twitching and it's bugging the hell outa me. So yea, pretty long entry today. I'm surprised you've even read til here. So to finish this entry off. I bid you good day, and sleep tight. Sleep! That's what I'm gonna do now. Yawn...Adios!

Haven't been updating this thing for quite some time.

Anyway, everything's just fine and dandy I suppose. Saw one of my eye candies yesterday, with his GF!!! Mann...but he's still cute. Oh well...

Everything's so stress these days. Project datelines, homework datelines, online datelines. Everything's more confusing 'coz of the public holidays. No school on that day means making up for the lost time on other days. Need to remember when the extra classes are, where, and what. Damn it, school life is getting hectic. So annoying...I'm still in the holiday mood. I haven't even gotten the time to just go out! Like on wednesday, Hari Raya Haji, I finally got to go out. I wasn't supposed to 'coz my brother's ex who came back from Perth was visiting my family and I, sort of a Chinese New Year visiting thing. But yea, yesterday was one of the rare days I could go out. I usually work on weekends, so basically my life has gone from school to work to school....to work. What a drag... Hope my social life will pick up soon, I need a vacation!!! Anywayz, ciao! Class's starting soon...
