Song stuck in my head: "I'm OK" - Christina Aguilera
It talks about her family situation then and now. How she felt then and feels now. Sad really. I've always thought she had a good life since she was young, being in the Mickey Mouse Club and all. But listen to song and you'll know what I mean. Sad, real, moving.

Have you ever wondered why some people look so familiar to you? How their faces trigger off a faded memory? Well, it happens to me quite often I must say. And it's a strange and annoying feeling sometimes. Like "I know that person...but from where?" kinda thing. Does this happen because subconciously, we recignise them from a former lifetime? Or maybe when we were babies, we saw them, either as a baby themselves or an adult who has now grown older? And that their faces remained in our minds, stored at the back of our memory, and that the image doesn't flash back till we see that person again. Also, how come some faces are more familiar than others? Maybe in our previous lives, the 'really familiar faced' people were someone famous or someone important that many people have seen then and recognised now? Weird, but these things may have happened. Some mental flaw we have that does this to our memories. These flashbacks long forgotten finally returning to mind.
I was writing all of these thoughts down at the back of math solutions while walking back home from the bus stop. It just struck me and I just HAD to write all these down somewhere before I forget any of the details, which I would! When I reached home, I continued writing, and ignoring the fact that it's 9pm and I hadn't eaten my dinner yet. It's just that I'm on a roll with these thoughts in mind and typing all of this down just releases the tension. My mind's just thinking of all these questions that many people have thought of but never dared ask. These are just my perceptions, not actual answers. My philosophy I call it. It's just strange that no one talks about it, or anything 'idle'. Things that do matter, but doesn't really. Contridicting, I know. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop', I know, I know. I've heard this a million and one times already. But how would you know??? Did he actually tell you???
Life's strange...
I'm stranger... ...

It's friday night,
What's going on tonight?
Absolutely NOTHING!!!
I'm so sick of weekends. I'm either too busy, or too free. Take last week for example, I was fully booked. This week, nothing! Oh, but not really. Tomorrow and Sunday I have something on. But today's Friday!!! And where am I? In friggin' school!!! Doing what??? Nothing!!! It's friday night!!! Friday night = going out and having fun. That's...not what I'm doing. Sigh.
Absolutely bored.
Absolutely jaded.

Yesterday's photo session wasn't a total waste. 'Coz the digi camera we had had low batt, we only could take a few during the jam. Most of the pics were blurred 'coz they kept on moving while playing the songs. But had some realli great shots. So, like I said, not a total waste.
Jamming yesterday was great. PP played songs from Ataris, to Allister, to Finch, to GC, and orginals, etc. Almost all were my favs. Jamming was gd.
I think we'll have another photo-taking session soon. Need some outa the jam room. But, weekends are always packed. I need to work, I want to club, I want to shop, I want to hang with friends, I want to take pics. 2 days in a week is not enough to do all of that. Thank gawd the holidays are nearing, so I'll have tons of time to do just that. Plus, I have some new resolutions for myself.
1. Meet at least 2 new people every month.
2. Do something sponteneous once every 2 months at least.
3. Meet up with old friends at least once every month.
4. Work at least once a month.
There...so far that's it. Hope I keep to it though. Actually, they're all quite realistic, and so far I've been doing something like that. I guess I just had to write that out. Thanks for the listen though. See ya guys!!!

I'm stressed!!! Tomorrow, well, today in fact, I'll be having 2 killer tests. Both unprepared for. Okay, I did prepare a little for IN2, my main module, but I'm not so sure I'd pass. I have no idea what's going on. Crap, why did I have to pick a specializing course at this stage???
Argh...school's stressing me silly. I even stayed back in school, when my class even ended early, just to study IN2. Didn't go home till around 7:30pm plus. And, tomorrow, I mean today, is Maundy Thursday, and I hafta stay back in school again!!! Why??? 'Coz of my friggin EG2 teacher that's why. Make-up lessons, at night! On a Thursday night! I'm so tired these days, dunno why. Maybe also due to insomia as well. Haven't been able to sleep till past 2am. Not a good thing. That's why I fell asleep during a lecture yesterday. Also, 'coz it was damn boring. My gawd...look at my writing. It's so secondary school writing. There's seriously something wrong with me, my body and my soul. Poems don't come to me as often as it did too. It's hard, not having inspiration. It's lifeless, it's empty, it's gone. Feeling down now.

Fashion show this friday at ZOUK and I'm invited! Well, sort of. My friend's friend, who's also kinda my friend too, is one of the models (swimwear modelling might I add), and he invited my friend. So yea, the ticket allows one invite and guest. And I'm the guest. Well, since I knew him too, she asked me to tag along. Plus, we seriously need some good old fashion R&B clubbing. Haven't done that in a loooong time. Can't wait! I need some serious de-stressing from poly life.
Okay, on another matter. My cuz just won 'The CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors' title. I'm so happy for him! When the April issue of CLEO came out, I was in complete shock to see my cousin on the cover! Right out in the open, for the whole world to see! Just to point out, he's the one on the right, NOT LEFT! People always assume that 'coz he's eurasian that he's not related to me. Like hello??? Eurasian = Asian + European Okay, yes, I may not resemble him, but hey!, I'm related. Anywayz, he won a Honda bike worth $6000. WOW! Btw, it's a real beaut. Plus, Levi's shopping vouchers worth $500, $500 cash, printer, Michaelangelo's dining vouchers worth $200, etc. My gawd...that's a whole lot of stuff!!! But I'm happy he won, so proud of him...sniff... Haha... Okay, enuff of this. Where do I sign up? Haha... Rright...
Okay...that's all folks!

Today I came to school in a full-on "formal", simple, black dress. I was like a black sheep. All eyes were on me when I walked into canteen 3. I felt so weird. Was everyone staring 'coz I was in formal? 'Coz I looked nice? 'Coz I looked bad? 'Coz I looked weird??? I dunno. But I thought I looked pretty nice. A guy friend did compliment me, so that made me feel better. A friend said I looked very business-like, which is good right? I dunno, I just dressed up however I thought seemed fit.
My presentation went well I guess. It was called "Poems and Artworks by yours truly". I had displayed some of my poems and art pieces I had done recently and in secondary school. Overall, I guess the presentation went pretty well. I had the crowd's attention throughout my presentation., and they actually seem like they enjoyed it. Thank gawd...
My next oral presentaion is this Wednesday. It's like a reflection speech on the Community Service we did for the module. Wish me luck!

Crap...why does this always happen to me???
EVERYTIME!!! Everytime I have something on, like work on weekends, I'm suddenly needed. I mean, yes I wanna enjoy the weekends as much as the next person, but I can't cancel work last minute like that. It's just not ethical. It's happened too many times, and I'm getting so irritated by it. Like tomorrow, for instance, I needa work. Then, at 10pm plus just now, PP's drummer calls up asking if I could take the band's pics tomorrow. I want to help, I DO! But, I can't. So yea, we might postpone it to next week or something. Then, a friend asks if I wanna go tanning with her tomorrow. And I SO wanna do that too! Argh...and...AND...my friends are going to Zouk tonight and they asked me along, but I can't go. Why?? 'Coz I'm bloody working tomorrow, that's why!!! Argh...ALWAYS ya know. Should I just stop work? I don't want to. I need the cash. But is it worth these kinda sacrifices? I dunno...I seriously dunno. I wanna play, but at the same time, I wanna work. I need to think this through. And really think it through.

Went to the dentist today. Had to remove a tooth. Sigh...*ouch*. Haha, nah, it didn't hurt at all. Well the process didn't, but the pain came after that. And guess how much it cost? 90 BUCKS!!! Since when did the prices get so high??? Okay, extraction was $35, cleaning $45, and medicine $10. Firstly, medicine??? I never gotten medicine from a dentist before, weird. Maybe the prices are normal, I wouldn't know. 'Coz all my life I've gotten my medical and dental free. Dad was in SAF. Anyway, I didn't remember the process of extraction being so painless. Maybe the dentistry had made some modifications since my last extraction, who knows? I just remember that when I was younger, the jab we needed to take to numb our nerves, ya know the needle going INto the gums? Yea, I remember it being aLOT thicker. As in, it was a bigger needle. Now, it's this really thin one. Couldn't feel a thing, after the initial prick. It was really painless.
But my gawd, when I put the cotton into my mouth, the bleeding would NOT stop!! It took me 2 and a half hours to finally clot the bloody thing. I think it was 'coz I didn't bite it hard enough. Crap... But yea, now I feel weird 'coz there's this gap in between my teeth, feel so, empty. But a tooth would grow in soon, so it's all good.
Haha, you should hear me talk with the cotton in my mouth. It's like all muffled. Also, the cotton made my cheek look swollen at that area as well, and it was damn obvious. I think my friends noticed but didn't dare ask what's up with me. Haha, I'll tell them tomorrow.
Alrighty, have to get some rest now. Adios Amigos!

The whether today was mad I tell you. First, a little drizzle, then, sudden downpour. And just when I thought it had rained enough. It started to pour again. Sheesh...
I was stuck in school due to the weather, but it was all good. I had a friend with me and we hid out in the library. At first, we were just chilling at the internet cafe, but that got boring. So the solution? MOVIES!!! I had been wanting to watch 'Erin Brockovich' for a while now, though I've seen it once before. And we were lucky too, my friend and I. We checked up in the computer if the DVD had been lent out or not, and it stated that it had just been returned. So we were searching high and low for it, but every cover looked the same after awhile, so we'd thought, what the heck!, just go to the counter and ask for it instead. But there was quite a line, so as my friend waited in line, I went back in to search for the DVD cover. Just as I entered that section, a librarian was just re-shelfing some DVD covers. Scanning through the stack she was holding, I spotted 'Erin Brockovich' and quickly asked, politely, if I could take it from her. She gladly handed it over and I rushed out hoping that my friend was still in line. She was, and while another librarian was checking out the DVD, I told my friend about a little incident that happened whilst I was in the DVD section. So happened, that there were these 2 other girls who were also trying to find that same DVD, but I had grabbed it before them, so it was tough luck. Anyway, it turned out that the DVD had lots of scratches and the DVD player kept on hanging 'coz it probably couldn't read the DVD. So yeah, we skipped alot of the scenes, but the basic storyline was still there. We ended up cutting the show short 'coz the rain had stopped and we had to get home for dinner. The point to this story? I dunno... Okay, life's this boring at times. What do you want from me? An adventure each and everyday? Go catch a movie!

I didn't know driving could be such fun! I was out in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, at East Coast. My friends and I were just joy riding in Singapore when we decided to go to somewhere spacious yet secluded enough for us to "drive". After one friend had tried his hand on driving, it was my turn. I was excited, yet terrified, all at the same time. I mean, what if I crash my friend's dad's car??? That would be the end of me. But, all was well. And I think I did pretty well for my first try. I didn't even scratch the car, *whew*! It was super fun. I drove a couple of times and was super psyched about the whole thing. Can't wait till I get actual driving lessons. Soon...I hope.
Today, alot of people did their Oral Presentations for Speech Comm. Mine's not due to next week, so I'm safe for now. But wow, did people dress up. I didn't expect people to be THAT dressed up. Really, really formal. I was thinking of wearing this black dress I have. It's nice and formal, but I'm not sure if it's business like. A friend of mine wore this black dress today and when we met up for lunch, I was like "wow". She looked so professional and in a damn 'chio' way. And I was certain NO ONE was paying any attention to me in the canteen. Haha, not that I wanted any in the first place. But that gave me second thoughts about wearing the black dress too. It's a totally different design from what she wore, but I didn't want to get any unwanted attention like she did. And, did she stick out in the crowd (in a good way). Maybe I'd take a cab to and fro school. Gawd...I really don't know. I have to really think about this.
Btw, try the 'Seafood Platter for 2' at Fish & Co. It's really good.
Au revoir cachun!

I took 3 neoprints today. 3!!! My gawd, I've become a neoprint freak! Haha... It was fun though. My friend and I tried out these kinda new machines and yea, it was a blast. Some turned out alright, some not so good. I mean, hey, I'm in it right? Bleah... *Sticks out tongue* Hate myself in pictures. I think I look damn chin-a now. I really need a tan. I was so dark last time. I guess 'coz I was alot more active. Swimming, running, playing game sports and all. Now, who has the time? I'm either in school 'studying' or out 'socialising'. Being a teen isn't all it ought to be. When I was younger I've always thought "Wow, being a teenager is so cool. Get to go out till late, get to party, get to buy things. Get to be free...". But what I didn't expect is that, while I get to party, I lose sleep. While I get to buy things, things I like, I have less money. We never thought about these things when we were younger. We just think that being older would be better. We were so wrong. I miss the old days, when we were all so carefree. I don't really remember doing homework actually, but I do remember hanging with my friends downstairs. Swimming, playing catching, playing badminton, chilling out outside the supermarket, etc. *sigh*, the good old days. I hate the fact that I'm going to turn 20 in a few years, then 21!!! That's SO OLD!!!
*Sulk*

I took neoprint yesterday. Yes, neoprint. That photo sticker thing?? Gawd, haven't done that in almost a year mann... Haha, it sounds lame I know, but it was fun! I looked terrible as usual, but hey, making memories. No one's even gona see it though, so don't count on it.
Wow, the last time I took neoprint, was in JB I think. It was super cheap I remembered, that's why we took it. I have it stuck onto my board now, reminding me of the fun I had in JB with friends. Damn, last time I went to JB, we didn't take any photos. Whoever's going to JB with me again, please remind me to bring a cam or something kay?
I seriously need to take new pics. So far I've been taking pictures with friends' cameras. Must remember to get the pics from them soon. Haha, I've been freeloading their film and digi space. Sorry folks! I promise to get my own cam soon. Once I have enough money that is.
I do have pics I wanna put up, like old photos and stuff, but I can't fit it in my blogger grid. It seems this space in the border is too small to accomodate the picture. When it loads, the border becomes FAT and ugly. So yea, let me figure this out and I'll put up some nice pics kay?
Mann, loads to do, too little time.
Adios Muncha-chos!

I got back my BE re-test paper. I PASSED!!! Woohoo! I got 68! Wow, that's like alot to me man. I mean, 68!!! For friggin' BE!!! Sigh, so happy now. This just gives me that extra boost to strive to score well for my BE exams. Sigh, happy, so happy.
Wow...SARS is really hitting Singapore hard. I came home today, shouting to my mom that school had been cancelled till next week. She asked why and stuff, so I told her, that there was a student from NP who got SARS so they closed all polys. My gawd did she get into such a fit. She immediately ordered me to take a bath. I wanted to catch what was left of this new series called "The Light Years", so I told her I'd bathe in 5 mins time. But she continued her fit and screamed at me to take a bath. She even threatened to switch off the telly. But of course, I threatened her back, saying I'd go into the master bedroom and watch tv there instead, so of course she'd let me continue watching tv in the living room. Haha, but yea, in the end, I did wash up and was clean as a whistle.
Yawnz...I'm dead tired. I really wanted to have school tomorrow. Wanted to settle something, but I guess that will have to wait. Night!
