Okay, got some info about the Sum41 concert that happened on the 30th of July 2003. Good and bad, and funny. Good: Sum41 rocked, yes fine. Plus, all those who spent on the 'General Admission' tix were asked to move front to the VIP section by Derrick the frontman of Sum41. Good sport that chap. Bad: Friends who bought the VIP tickets were quite fucked about paying so much when everyone ended up allowed into the VIP area. Also, female caucasians who supported PugJelly (the gig's opening act) were there just to support PugJelly. What the??? Plus, one elbowed my friend in her face. Biaches. Funny: PugJelly played like crap, I heard. They were so bad that halfway through one song, the amps switched off. Word is, someone backstage pullled the plug on them. Another thing, the drummer of PugJelly threw his drumsticks into the audience (trying to be cool), and one of my friends caught one and threw it back on stage. They didn't like PugJelly, so yea. But imagine the look on PJ's faces when they saw the drumstick being thrown back on stage, priceless.

Okok, so that's all the scoop there is to know about the gig that day. Till the next concert review update. *Crosses fingers* I hope it'll be GC, I hope it'll be GC.

CRAPPED UP!!!

I sooooo wanted to go for the SUM41 concert last night but I was so broke that I couldn't even afford the student priced tickets. ARGH!!! And what makes this worse is that the concert ROCKED! This was what I heard from the radio and read on my friend's blog. CRAP!!! Annoying mann... I should've gone. Damn...wasted.

The whole of yesterday was me debating whether or not to go, but when I decided I wanted to go, a friend of mine convinced me that even though I liked Sum41's music, I didn't like ALL their songs and wasn't a HUGE fan of theirs. All true, but I wanted to see them live though. I DID love some of their songs, not all, but most. Damn...did I make the wrong decision?? Hope not. It may have rocked for a huge Sum41 fan, but who knows? I wasn't there to judge it for myself.

Nevermind, if GC EVER comes to Singapore, I'd be the first one to get tickets, the best tickets, and go really really early to go right upfront. Sigh, okay, venting this HAS made me feel better. Btw, if GC comes to Singapore and I'm broke, you guys lend me money kay?? Thanks. *BIG smile*

The people in my French (Monday) class are bloody fucks. Not all, but a few are. There's this ONE girl who really pisses me off whenever she opens her mouth. I just wanna slap her everytime she speaks or trys to "impress" everyone with her so-called French skills. She's such a biacH acting like she owns the whole frickkin class. Bloody freshie thinks she's the gawd-given French expert. ARGH!!! You just have to be there to know what I'm talking about. First, it's her annoying ah-lian-ish voice. "Huh? Cher! What you say? Repeat repeat!" Then when it's someone else's turn to read a particular passage, she'd interrupt saying, "WRONG la! It's jer swee la! Wah lao, that one also don't know!". It's Je suis (pronounced as sher swee) fuckin biach! If you wanna correct someone, at least do it right! And she thinks she's so drop-dead gorgeous. *puke* She's always tossing her hair each time she turns around to face the class (she always sits right in front of the class). And her giggle! It's so...hold on, let me puke again. If I'm ever able to camcord her, I'd send you guys the link kay? ARGH!!!! Okay, now onto the other group of fucks. It's this bunch of guys who don't give a fuck about the French class. Why in the hell did they sign up and pay good money for a course like this then??? You know, French class, teaches French??? ARgh...bloody fucks. When the teacher asks them to do a dialogue with another person in the class, they're like so heck care and they do it, any-old-how. Gawd, if you're not into it, QUIT! Easy as that, you fucks. Okay, I think this is my ONLY entry with this much swearing. I apologise to the underaged kids reading this. I just needed to vent. Sigh, feel much better now. Ook, I'll try to perk up my next entry k? Au revior!

Okay, saturday. I watched "Lara Croft Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life" with the same gang. I was damn tired and could hardly keep awake, but I did enjoy the movie. A few things to look out for though - one, Angelina Jolie's stunt double, who I might add, is a guy. It looked so fake, and you could totally tell the stunt double from her, duh! sheer mass. Plus, the wig was so fake! And another thing to look out for, Angelina Jolie in a scene, speaking MANDARIN!!! Gawd, I almost fell off my seat laughing at the way she tried (tried her very best) to make her Mandarin speaking skills convincing. Convincing to the ang-mos maybe, but to a Chinese...HA! Ohohoh, and you MUST watch her counterpart take a whack at Mandarin too! His is WORSE!!! Hahahaha...I could almost tear then. Btw, I love Angelina's eyes. They're damn nice, and hypnotic. Okay, no I'm not gay, I just think she has damn nice eyes. You should keep an eye out for them, esp the close-ups. Okok, enough about the movie.

After the movie, and after much delay, my friends and I went down to Pan Pacific Hotel. Another friend of mine had booked a room there 'coz she was going to ZoukOut. So anywayz, we went to yet another drinking fest. The usual 5-10 was played and yes a few konked out. Haha, but I had an enjoyable time, but was damn tired the following morning. I was the only one in the group who lived in the west so I took the mrt home and slept all the way from City Hall to Clementi. Then I took a bus home afterwards. 4 days with little sleep plus 2 days with almost no sleep, my body was abused and wrecked. My conciousness was a tad away from being totally wiped out. Thank gawd I reached home in time, bathed and got to bed, only waking up at 9:30pm Sunday night. Yikes. But yea, my body's almost fully recovered from all that lack of sleep and too much alcohol. Still, I don't regret anything from that weekend. It was fun! Kk, gotta catch some rest now too. So adios!

Past 2 days have been sleepless...

Okay, first on Friday. I headed down to my friend's house for a drinking party - his parents were out of town. Anywayz, I was asked to bring along some friends so I did. And on the way over to my friend's party, a few things occurred. First thing, there were 9 of us altogether so we splitted up. 5 took the car, the other 4 of us took a cab down. I was one of the 4, so we tried flagging down a cab, (btw, I saw spiky hair guy at cini!!!) and when we finally got one, we get a call from a friend in the car. "We got into an accident!" Erm, Oook... And it was at the junction in front of us, so we got out of our cab, (and the bloody cab driver charged us for that 5 metre ride)and rushed to the scene. Apparently, a motorcyclist w/ his gf had knocked out the side view mirror off my friend's BMW. I was just dangling off the car. Plus, a scratch and dent on the side of the car too. So getting the damn situation settled took an hour plus, 'coz the stupid ah-beng was bitching and all. Anywayz, after much debating, 3 friends and I thought we'd go to my friend's party first and the rest joining us later. So then we got a cab and went off. We told the driver the exact address and the location - Upper Paya Lebah. We asked him if he knew where it was and he just kept quiet. Erm...Oook... So then at Upper Paya Lebah, the cab driver took us to gawd-knows-where, and then said he didn't know where the address was. So then, we called a friend who was already at the party, told him where we were, got out of the damn-frickkin cab, bitched and was picked up by my friend (the one I talked to on the phone) in another friend's car. I thought ok, now we can finally part-ee, but when we got there, my friends who were there were just about to leave. They got so bored, so they left. And I had just arrived with my friends!!! Gawd... Then after 15 mins, the peeps in the BMW pulled up. We all grouped and started our drinking fest. My friend (owner of the house) was spending most of his time with HIS own group of friends, so my friends and I felt kinda outcasted. But at the end of the night, we did mix alittle, drank quite abit, played 5-10, and left.

My friends and I went to BMW's place. My gawd, it's like a resort mann. It's located at Holland Road. And I mean HOLLAND ROAD. The road itself, not the area. So yes, he's frickking rich. His house was like a mansion. When we walked in, the size of the living room amazed us, then what one-uped that was the backyard. It was so hang-outish friendly. Plus, he had a pool! And beside the pool was another hang out area, and a hammock!!! I lurved the hammock and laid there was quite awhile. You should've seen the pool toilet. It's so quiant. It's like this dome thing, and the basin was like made of brass or something, the mirror - very indonesian, the shower area - so zen. Imagine a square area - shower sized, then imagine a slighty smaller square area in the bigger square area with pebbles surrounding the smaller square area. So zen right??? Plus, there's no roof. Don't worry, nobody can look in. So you can imagine yourself showering while having this starlight view - wow. I'm so damn jealous mann... Ohohoh, and the upstairs. When you get to the top of the stairs, there's ANOTHER living area, where there are cupboards of books, wide-screen tv, fridge, comp, sofa, etc. But his room was rather plain compared to the rest of the house. Normal guys room, but with a bathroom like a hotel's. Okok...so the evening started out all wrong, but at the end of the day, or start of the next morning, it was great. We ended up playing mahjong and making our ways home after 7am. Btw, I was dead tired but had to go to work, so I was beat. Guess what I did after work on Saturday. I went out with them again. But sigh, tell you about that tomorrow. Night!

Netball practice sucked!!! I spent most of the 2 hours waiting for my turn to play. And I only got to play for like 10 mins??? What a waste of time!!! Plus, the suckiest part today was that they were picking players for the competition team, and I didn't even stand a chance 'coz I've never played netball before. I mean, selecting players already??? Come on!!! What about the other people who have the potential? Like today, during that short 10 mins of playing, I spent the first 5 mins trying to get the hang of the game, afterwhich I was playing like I was back in the secondary school days. I was totally in it! I was center so I did most of the running, and I had the ball most of the time which felt great. I loved playing Captain's Ball back in secondary school and was quite good at it, so playing netball got me back to that competitive spirit again. It felt so good. Then, 10 mins was over before I knew it. Crap... Now I'm deciding whether it's worth it to go back next Thursday just to play netball. Alot of people might show up and I might only play just one game again. So it maybe crap, but I'm falling in love with the game and I really wanna play. Argh... But I've missed running too, so I MIGHT join Track & Field. But am I that good to be on the team?? I don't know mann... Seriously, I don't know what to do...

My eyes are weird. Not literally, but something's wrong with my sight. Am I not paying enough attention to my surroundings? Or am I going blind??? It's like this... Just now I was in library but I had to leave to go to class, so just as I walked past the discussion room, someone knocked on the glass panel. I looked, thinking it was a friend who spotted me, but as I looked for a few seconds, I couldn't see anyone I knew. So I turned away, thinking that the guy near the glass panel knocked it for the fun of it. So then I walked away. Then after class, I returned to the library, and as I walked past the discussion room, I just glanced in, but didn't pay attention to anyone in there. Then the guy looked at me, and I was like thinking...who's that?? I don't recall him. So I just walked away again. Then when I settled down, where I am now, a friend came and said hi. Apparently, SHE was the one who knocked on the glass panel the first time. But I never even saw her in that room!! Gawd, maybe I AM going blind. And I guess the guy is one of her friends and recognised me when I returned to the library. Sigh, and another thing. I spotted a few familiar faces when I was walking back and fro classes, but at the time when I DID see them, it didn't click in my mind that I DID know them. I usually say hi to people I know when I see them you see, it's just nice, but at times, I don't even realise that it's a friend of mine, till I'm a few metres past them. I'm weird... I guess I should maybe walk slower and take in my surroundings.

I've got netball practice later, and I'm quite excited about it, 'coz I've always wanted to play netball, but never really did. Another new thing I wanna try out before I get too old for it. I've already tried tennis, now netball. Next... I might want to get back to ballet again. I missed it. But I need money, again. Damn...oh well, we'll see. Kk, till next time. See ya!

*Please read at own risk and discretion*

Dang damn it. It's happened a million and one times already! When you least expect to see someone, they'd show up!!! When you try look for someone, they'd suddenly disappear from the face of this earth. What the hell is going on??? Why is life like that? We're being controlled by unknown forces who are playing with our lives. Ya know those cartoon shows, where they show you these people "growing" a world and watching them evolve? It's like that!!! And we're the people created by a person with nothing to do. Or some scientific experiment. Can you imagine?? Like the actual "REAL" world is not inhabited by humans but some other species unknown to us? And humans are like...Sea Monkeys! ... ... Okay, it DOES sound insane, but it just makes you think out of the box. Are we all fools to believe that we're just here, 'coz we're here?

Like the sun might be a giant light bulb. And we get forest fires 'coz someone accidentally pushes the light bulb too close to the "experiment" and thus creates fire. Or some days are hotter than others might be caused by the same thing?? Hmm.. And rain! Someone might have been crying on our world, or spilling a drink causing floods... Who knows???!!!

Okay, something's seriously wrong with me...thinking WAY out of the box.

*Please do not take this entry into account of me being insane. I am mentally tired and exhausted. This entry will self-distruct in 24 hours...plus or minus. Thank you.*

Baybeats ROCKED!!!!

There were the great, the not bad, the entertainers and the down-right strange. You just had to be there to understand why. But more about the strange - There's this band who calls themselves 'Tiramisu'. Not a big fan of their genre of music, but they played well. What's so interesting about them is their peformance itself. The frontman was a little strange and a little funny at first, but afterawhile you'd realise that he's more eccentric than strange. His movements and expressions are out of the ordinary, and sometimes you wouldn't know what he'll do next. At one point of time, I thought he was going to jump towards where I was sitting at. But in the end, he decided to jump into another part of the audience. Haha, it was a real entertaining performance. Seriously, it's worth your time. I'm not sure of this, but I think the band's gay. A friend told me while the band was prepping for the next song, that he saw 2 members kissing on stage. And btw, they're all guys, so erm, yea. I really can't back up this assumption 'coz I didn't see it for myself and for all I know, it might just e those two, but anywayz, it doesn't matter. Their really good performers, being gay or not doesn't matter.

On another note, PP did the best performance I've heard them play. For a band that didn't practise till 1 hour before sound check, they sounded damn good. But I don't know, they said that they did fluke here and there, but from where I was sitting, everything sounded alright. Btw, if you didn't catch them at Baybeats, it's your lost 'coz they won't be playing any gigs anytime soon 'coz the frontman's already in NS and the bassist is joining in soon. That's what happens to bands with guy members, oh well. But don't worry, any upcoming gigs will be duely informed by yours truly.

Pug Jelly's performace proved that people either love or hate them and their music. The punks, skins and skas were all almost upfront of the crowd, but while PJ was performing, they were jumping and middle-fingering the band. Hard to tell if they meant it in a "hey guys, you rock!" or "you guys suck". *shrugz* I liked them, so I don't really care what the others think. They're a real talented band. So what if their a bunch of "ang-mos"? What counts is their music, and it's good. I didn't get to stay for their whole gig though...what a waste.

FONZIE!!! Damn, heard they're damn good, but I only managed to catch like a minute of one of their songs. They sounded great for that one minute though, so the whole 1/2 hour set might have gone even better. I wouldn't know.

Kk too long. BYE!

Okay...yesterday's party at Embassy was a blast. Got a little frustrated here and there but more about it later on.

Getting in was a real hassle. The line was too long for my taste, thus the art of cutting comes into place. So when I finally entered the haven, drinks were ordered at an abundunce. After just a glass, I had to go back out into the chaos to help peers get tickets. I HAD to take on the middleman role. Crap, never EVER be the middleman. I had to wait for the ticket buyers, get the money, sort the money, get hold of the ticket seller, find the ticket seller, give money, get tickets, give tickets, and then re-enter the club. Crapped up job. And re-entering was another matter. Stupid ticket holders blocked the re-entering entry point. So I tried getting in the other way, but was stopped by an EMBASSY staff. After much debating, but to no avail, I was forced back to the re-entry line and tried to push my way to the door. Lucky thing a friend was by my side to help me with the muscle power. And another good thing was that the "door bitch" saw us and checked if we were re-entries before letting us back in. Other than that situation, everything else went on like a party should go on - FUN! I drank a whole lot, got pretty high and danced the night away. Gawd, it's definitely the best party I've been to.

Btw, if you didn't know, the term "door bitch" means the woman who's in charge of checking id and deciding on who gets into the club and who doesn't. Another thing, a lucky friend of mine was called up the other day, and was asked to become a prestigious part-time "door bitch" at a club which I would not at this moment in time reveal its name. But gawd, that's sooo cool!!! And after being asked that, she even gave a friend and I a preview on how she'd turn down people from entering the club. Whoa, she looked damn pro mann... Bitchy, with a touch of class and coolness. Haha. I'd definitely go to THAT club once she's got the job. Plus, I'd gain free entry! *wink wink* Anywayz, enuff said. Adios!

Crap...it's like I'm a day behind on my blog updates.

Okok...this entry will be about my driving experience at East Coast Car Park on Friday, at 3:30am in the morning.

The day began with a Mongolian dinner at Gengis Khan Restaurant at Taka, followed by KTV. Yes, KTV. Let me first tell you about the people with me. It was a friend of a friend's birthday, so the whole night outing would be on him. So yes, the dinner was paid by him and so was the KTV. Anywayz, the people there were mainly HIS friends and 2 mutual friends. And well, HIS friends were more to the chin-a side and they were the really chin-a kind. So at first everyone, my friends and I were a little uncomfortable around them 'coz there we were, 2 different cultures in one room. It was kinda hard not to spot the tention. So, after a few 5-10 games (it's a drinking game), we all finally managed to be at ease with one another, and that was when the fun really started. We took turns singing songs (btw, most of them are tone-deaf, but we were more into the doing it than seeing who can sing better). They sang their Chinese or Hokkien or Cantonese songs, and one of two English songs, and my friend and I sang "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia, "Never Ever" by All Saints - just the name a few. After the KTV, we went to a coffeshop to chill for a while before heading to East Coast Car Park to drive. I was so hoping that I'd get to drive the BMW - the only automatic out of the 3 cars, but needless to say, THAT didn't happen. So then I was taught how to drive a stick. It was hard at first, learning all the basics and all in 5 mins, but I got the hang of it after awhile. IT WAS FUN!!! Seriously, 'coz there's so much to take into account for, doing all that, makes it more challenging than driving an auto. I totally enojoyed myself! And I'd definitely do it again! Seriously, hanging out with these bunch of people from different backgrounds and cultures is really refreshing. Very out of the normal, and is an experience everyone should try in their lives. Don't live your life without living in each others. Does it make any sense? Anywayz, I'll tell you guys about the GREAT party at Embassy that happened tonight, tomorrow. Night peepz.

Ps, for the clueless people out there, Baybeats 2003 had started on Friday 18th July. It will only last for 3 days and Sunday is the last day, so go check the bands out. Bands to look out for - tomorrow: The Gloria Record, Buddistson, My Squared Circle. Last chance to catch great bands in one location at one gig for FREE!!! Laterz.

So much has happened over the past 2 days.

On Wednesday, it was free entry for all at Zouk, so a couple of friends and I went to party though it was a school nigh. So anywayz, I ended up drinking 5 Tequilla shots and a shot of Nothing (I didn't mistype, the shot's called 'Nothing'). I'm usually able to hold my drinks well and maintain my sanity, but I totally let loose that night. Thank gawd, this time my friend (the same one I went to Zouk the other time), took care for me. And she drank MORE!!! Weird. Anywayz, the highness and all was fun, but a funny thing happened when we were making our way home. After my friends had left, my friend and I decided to get in queue for a taxi. We were reluctant at first 'coz the line was long, but we didn't have anything else to do anyway. So, we got in line, then this ah-beng comes up to me with his friend. "Err...my friend wants to know your name ah..." I'm like, "Sorry, I don't give my name to strangers." Then they gave this lame reply, "But ahhh we're not strangers leh..." Then I'm like, "Err, yea you are!" Then I look away, face front towards the long line of cabs. Then this guy in front of us commented to himself (or maybe to me) on the line the ah-bengs pulled, "Smooth..." Afterwhich I added MY comment, "Weirdos". At this point of time, I continued talking to my friend. Then whilst leaning against the fence, the guy in front does the same. So there I was talking about getting a car 'coz of the conveniences, the guy in front of me posts a question to me. "What nationality do you think that guy is?", sounding so english-speaking while pointing to a guy across the road wearing a hat. I guessed, "Erm...Turkish?". Duh, I mean, how'd I supposed to know??? Then he nods and looks to the front of the line. Weird people ALL AROUND ME!!! This guy was cute though. Well-built, well-spoken...and TALLER!!! Mann...maybe I shouldn't have sounded so uninterested. He may be perfect for me. I love his low voice, his well-conversed English, his height, his built, his dressing, etc. AMANDA!!! What the hell??? Gawd, and I'll bet I'd never see him again. Damn it la... But, seriously, his line was lame. Haha. Anywayz, I'm real tired, tell you about what happened on Thursday tomorrow. Nightz!

I hate it when my friend keeps putting me in these awkwards positions. Okay, this is what I mean. A guy (whom she already knows) would casually ask my friend out for drinks or just to meet up. THEN, she'll call me and asks me if I'd like to go out. Sometimes, I don't even know this guy, or I don't even know this guy is coming along, or even that the guy LIKES her. Why does she always do this to me??? It's happened like so many times already, and I always fall for it. It's so freaking OBVIOUS that they like her, and she claims that she's not at all interested in them and backs it up that she already has a boyfriend. But hello??? Since she already knows she has a boyfriend, why does she STILL flirt back!!! ARGH!!! She makes me sick sometimes! I love her as a friend, but I seriously don't think she should use me as a "extra" whenever she feels like it. I wanna tell her, but I'm not good with these things. It always ends with me feeling guilty and giving in to her. I think it's me... Is there a sign around my neck that says, "USE ME"? From what I've been through, growing up and all, I think people DO see the sign. It's just sad... And I'm mad at myself for always giving in to people. I'm mad that I don't take control. I'm mad that I say I'm not a follower anymore, but yet I am. Realising this, will I change? I'm doubful. And that gets me back to sad.

I'm almost dead tired. 9am was the time I stepped into my home this morning. Where was I all night? At a friend's house chilling the whole night and morning, in Changi!!! Like damn far... Ok, it's like this. The plan was a drinking session at my friends house, followed by clubbing at zouk that night. It was a friend's birthday, so I couldn't refuse, plus, free drinks. Anywayz, so then we were all supposed to meet in town then go to my friend's house from there. Turns out, the plan had changed and we were having a bbq too. So we went to Cold Storage at Centrepoint and bought the food then made our way to Changi. By that time, it was 9pm already. When we finished the preparation for the food, bbq-ed it and finally sat down to eat, it was 10pm plus. So then Zouk was cancelled. But it wasn't all bad, I had great company at my friend's place. I met new people and re-united with some old ones. A few interesting moments here and there, and a few boring ones too, but hey, that's what you get when it's a last minute stay over. But yea, I had a blast. Everyone left at 7am in the morning, and I HAD to take the train home 'coz of lack of cash. So, one hour train ride home. But no fret, it was actually well wasted on talking about what had happened the night before. The ups and downs. Oh yea, did I mention? We were all playing badminton in the driveway at 6am in the morning. Gawd... But anyway, I safely made it home (I didn't faint from exhaustion thank gawd) and plopped onto the sofa and slept for a good 2 hours before waking up, taking a bath then eating maggi mee. Afterwhich I went to sleep on my very comfortable bed. I wanted to wake up at 6pm to watch "The Gilmore Girls" 'coz I've missed so many episodes due to work, but I'd overslept and woke up just in time to watch the last 15 mins of it. At least I caught a little of it. Sigh, okay, 1:26am. Tomorrow, school. Now, sleep. Night!

I'm still waiting for the right guy to come along. Someone who'll take me for me, and accept everything that I am - flaws and all. Someone who would understand me, my moods and my difficulties. Someone who I can speak with at the same level, and can also see things eye-to-eye. Someone who's taller than me, smarter than me, richer than me, nicer than me, and who's a better person overall. Someone who can make me the best that I could be. Someone who'll push me to study hard and study smart. Someone who knows how to have fun. Someone who I can talk with for hours and hours. Someone who's funnier than me. Someone who can teach me things. Someone who will love me no matter what. Someone who has the same taste as me. Someone who loves the music I love. Someone who can dance. Someone who can sing. Someone who loves every inch of me, from my freckles to all my imperfections. Does such a person exist???

Black is the colour of my soul,
it's sometimes so hard,
it's sometimes so cold.

What do I do to a soul such as mine?
Throw it away with the trash?
Or sell it away for some cash?

Alone with myself is tormenting,
all these thoughts in my head rambling.
Kill yourself it says,
end everyone's dismay.

This is fictional so don't fret.

FRENCH CLASS WAS DA BOMB!!!

Yay!!! My FIRST French class today was so super fun! Ahem...let me try this out. Je m'appelle Amanda, et vous? Haha, so fun!!! My gawd, can't wait till next class!!! Gawd, I got so bummed when I found out I missed my actual first French class on Monday. Nobody told me about it. Stupid lady in charge of the modules was supposed to call me up to tell me but noooo...she didn't. I ended up missing it, but nvm! Today totally made up for it. Btw, just a general info about the French language. Did you know that inanimate objects have genders? That's what the "Le" and "La" infront of some words is about. It's acts like the "the" in the English Language. Example: Le table, La baguette, etc. "Le" (pronounced as Ler) is for a masculine term and "La" is for a feminine term. Can you imagine? A baguette is female. ... ... ... Grrreat... Anyhoo, I'm really getting a hang of this French language, it sure beats Chinese... Yeap, share more later. Salut!

I'm dead...tired. But I've got to tell you about this guy in one of my classes.

I've noticed him around since semester 1 - Year 1. He's just cute. Strange thing is that he's not wow WOW, but just plain cute. Hmm, my friend and I have a nickname for him, but it'll be kinda obvious who I'm referring to if I mention it. So in case that guy for gawd-knows what reasons, EVER stubbles across my blog, I'd better not mention his nickname or his name for that matter. But, I don't know his name, so... Anywayz, I was late for that class today, and when I opened the front door to the classroom, yes, everyone stared. I scanned the room for familiar faces to sit with, got to my seat at the back of the classroom and rested abit. I looked around the room for other familiar faces besides my course mates and noticed this really cute guy at the corner of the room. It was him!!! At least I thought it was... Then I smsed my friend who DID know him, and she replied saying that she had seen him in previous classes and described the colour shirt he was wearing. And yes, it matched, so I knew it was him. What totally made my day was that he kept turning back and looking my way, so I was in a good mood afterwards. Plus, when the teacher checked who was in the respective practical classes, and asked the people from each class to raise their hands, he checked if I was in HIS class. Hmm... Heez... My whole day was a drag till that class, sigh...

Well, till tomorrow...

Ohh ohh... I forgot to mention about the Freshman. Hahahahaha...they're...so...lost. I remember how that felt like, but it's just hilarious to see other people so blur. You can SO tell the Freshies from the sophmores and seniors. There are the different kinds. The blur-geeky kind - frantically finding their classrooms. The momma's kind - the ones that wear what their mom's picked out for them. The try-too-hard kind - wearing their best clothes for the first day of school to make that "cool" impression. Etc etc, you know what I mean. The Freshies stick out like a sore thumb. You make fun of them, but then you get annoyed at them too. What do I mean? ... ... They ate my hotdogs. My almost-daily dose of chickeny goodness at "EACH-A-CUP". One of my favourite chill out spots in NP, ran out of hotdogs. Idiot Freshies.

And there are NO gd-lookers. Where have all the looks gone to??? How will the good lookers of Singapore carry on their good looks??? We're all finished!!! Singapore will have a new breed of no good lookers. We're all DOOMED!!!

Ok, till tomorrow.

The first day of school went...grrreat... Of course you couldn't tell that I meant that in a sacarstic way, but I did. Meeting up with all my school mates was a blast of course, I really missed them. Then, it started. Classes. Like what the??? Hello??? First day of school means no classes, just meeting new lecturers and new classmates, but Noooo... They HAD to start classes already! Oh and another thing, buying notes was such a hassle. My friends and I had to go to different locations to get the right notes. Oh, and the lines... The queue was so long, even the Great Wall of China couldn't come close to. Okok, I AM exaggerating, but the queue WAS in the longish range. But no probs with me, my friends were at the head of the line by the time I got there, so yes, I cut. Hey don't blame me!!! My lecturer only gave my classmates and I 15 mins to get the notes for class WHICH he wanted to start after that short "break". And 15 mins is too short for anyone to get notes with THAT queue. So I apologise to people I cut in front of.

Oh yes, and then there are the 'zones'. NP has divided itself into 3 zones now. (In a happy but sacarstic tone) And they're all colour-coded!!! Woohoo! ... ... Seriously, are we still kids? There ARE what they call 'numbers' ya know. And to make things worse, the school made us collect these 'Kool Kits' as they call it, to take our temperatures twice a day - AM and PM. Gawd, and everytime and anytime you go down to the atrium or library, you have to scan your student card and take your temp as well. ARGH!!! LAME!!! TROUBLESOME!!! ... ARGH!!! (Again - In a happy but sacarstic tone) Ohh, but we get these really funky stickers saying, "I'M WELL", and the extra point goes to wearing it at ALL times. ... ... ... Plus, we're supposed to wear our colour band with a tag around our necks at all times too. Screw that. This is pathetic and lame! And we can't even go to other zones, and 'FORBIDDEN' was the word one of the lecturers used. He aslo mentioned that NP is implementing this "system" 'coz the school board thinks SARS will be back in December, which would actually make some sense 'coz people WILL be flying home for Christmas and all. But HELLO??? December's 6 months away!

On the upside, I'm in the 'Red Zone' and it's the biggest zone of all. We have the atrium, library, pools, 2 canteens, and the IT blocks are in the zone too!!! Heehee... Sorry, inside joke - only 2 other people know about. Btw, there are signs all around the school that says, "YOU ARE NOW ENTERING - RED ZONE". Haha, like some LaserMania game. Hilarious!!! Anyway, this entry is getting WAY too long, so let me end off on this note. As it's stamped at the back of the zones map, (In a BIG annoying smile) "NP cares!"

School is only 2 days away!!! Yay!!! I missed school sooo much. Omg...what am I saying??? *shrugs* But I DO!!! I miss school so much!!! I miss my friends (school mates and class mates, etc), my chill spots (atrium, library and bono's), Each-A-Cup (my almost-daily dose of chicken hotdogs), np mini-mart (for sweets and chocolates), np deli (the delish sandwiches I often consume), SPLASH (my dose of chocolate brownie + chocolate ice-cream and the wonderful salads), etc. My gawd, NP rocks mann... I mean, many may differ the idea, but they don't have the 'family' support as I do. All my INC course mates, esp the ones who hang out at bono's, know what I mean. NP never had a closer bunch of students than us. We're like...family...awww... Touching isn't it... Haha, anywayz. I'm also super excited about my French classes. FRENCH!!! My gawd, it'll be so fun! Kk...really perky tonight, dunno why. But yea, catch ya ppl at school. Till then, au revoir!

Omg, you guys have GOT to watch "Punk'd". It's this MTV show hosted by Ashton Kutcher (he's the guy from "That 70s Show" and "Just Married"), and how he plays pranks on other celebs. It's damn funny mann... Like the first prank he pulled was on Frankie Muniz (he's from "Malcom In The Middle" and "Agent Cody Banks"), Frankie was freaked when he thought his $250,000 car (btw, there's only 200 in the world) got stolen!!! And yes, it WAS returned to him, so no worries. The prank showed after that was that famous one of Justin Timberlake (if you haven't heard of him, nvm). The people from "Punk'd" re-possessed all that Justin owned, saying that it was 'coz he didn't pay his taxes that summed up to $900,000. So yea, Justin freaked and boy did HE freak! He was so scared that he called his mom and btw, his mom was in it too!! Damn... Anyway, you get the picture. Basically, "Punk'd"'s about sick pranks on celebs, but it is worth watching or (ahem) *whisper* downloading. The first episode was aired on MTVasia last night (wed) at 8pm, so if you guys have cable, you can catch it on ch20 every wed night. Haha...funny stuff. Kk, adios!

I used to love to read. From Archie comics to novels. Especially kinds that are about ballet, like ballet love stories kinda thing. I know some of you may think "Amanda??? Love stories??? What???", but seriously, it's so nice to read about all these kinda 'love lives'. One of the books I treasure in my cupboard, is "Russian Nights". I HAVE to go read that again one day, but yea...ONE day... I'm getting kinda lazy to read looooooong blog entries and looooong articles. What is wrong with me?? Next I'd be picking up CHINESE!!! Gawd...THAT'll be the day... Slap me if I ever go chin-a kay?

Anyway, like I said, "Russian Nights" by Robyn Turner is good, so is "Black Beauty" by erm...can't find the book. But "Black Beauty" is about the life of a horse and how much it went through, passed around from owner to owner, the people and horses she meets, the cruelty she had seen and etc. Sounds lame, but it's really good. Read it when I was little, now if I could only find it, I'd read it...soon. Rright...

What the hell is wrong with me??? Talking about books at 1:22am. Okay, NEED sleep. Nightz.
