Slept till 3pm, then my lil's sis wouldn't leave me to sleep. So I laid on my bed till 5 then got up.
I hate the humidity. I hate to perspire. The sun was hot hot hot though. So to all you people who were at Sentosa or at the poolside tanning, fuck y'all. Fucking lucky bastards.
I was supposed to join Nat and co. at her bf's friend's condo for some tennis and swimming, but I didn't get to sleep till 9am this morning, so yea, I was tired. But hope you guys had fun!!
So tomorrow I SHOULD study for Monday's exam. One that I hadn't started studying on. Hey, t'was Labour day... I needed my holiday too y'know?? Btw, HAPPY LABOUR DAY!!

Was just talking to Maddie. We talked for err...6 hours??? (Let me count..) Yea, around 6ish. I don't know how it came to 6 hours, but it did. We just started chatting on the net, then decided to proceed with the conversation on the phone (we're lazy buggers who can't be bothered to type much. Let our mouths do the talking, y'know??), so we did. And I figured, y'know, I'll talk to her abit then go sleep. But no... 6 hours!! Whoo!
Great talking to ya Madd...but next time...let's keep it to a maximum of 2 hours??

I don't know how I did today. MPI isn't as tough as I'd thought.
I didn't cram like I'd last minute decided to. Instead, I went to bed. The paper was o-k to me. I was writing all the way in an hour then handed it up. Whether or not my answers made any sense, will be up to the lecturer marking my paper. It'll seriously be a God-given miracle if I pass...seriously...
I even told my coursemates that IF I passed, that it'll be my promise to God that I go to Church every Sunday. My thanks to God, so to speak. But everyone doubts the possibility of me passing. How optimistic!

I just found out that all my exams have a weightage of 50% off each module. I'm fucked. I'm throwing away 50% of my MPI mark and going to redo the damn module again. Damn, I'm going to cram everything in now. Wish me luck!

So weird... I just discovered that my friend's new handphone no. starts with an '8'. Apparently, those are the new numbers released. So now, all handphone numbers will start with either an '8' or '9'.
Ohohoh!!! 'For Love Or Money 2' was nerve-wrecking for me mann... I tell you... When Erin picked Chad (which I totally foresaw), I was so worried for her when Chad used the words "so..." and "but...". In the end... He picked her over the money. Thank gawd. It's so sweet too... He said that she he couldn't bear to think that he could NOT see her ever again if he picked the money, so that's why he chose her instead of the money. Aww...
FYI, there's another word I'm adding to my "words-to-avoid-saying-in-front-of-mom-and-dad" list. And that word is.. "Bastard". Yes.. I canNOT say "bastard" in front of my parents. How retarded! I can say "idiot", "dumbass", "Gawd-damn" (ok, I'm not sure about the latter), but "bastard" is not allowed. My mom said, "You've been hanging out with your friends too much." Err, yea mom, I shouldn't hang out with my friends. I should hang out with total strangers, people whom I DO NOT know, and thus making everything better.
So tomorrow's my d-day. Tomorrow's my failing module. The module I am going to fail. Wish me luck!!

Progress was good today. I actually managed to make notes.
Zelia just sent me this:
"Women are like apples on trees: the best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy....... So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along - the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree."
Thanks Ze...

Got talking with my dad and we've decided to fail MPI.
MPI means MICROCONTROLLER PROG & INTERFACE. It's a module I'm taking. I don't get it, I don't like it, and most of all I'm going to fail it. It's stupid shit (I've posted a sample of it before). Really, if I pass the exam, it still wouldn't be enough to pass the module. If I got a hundred, I'm sure I'll pass, but what's the chance of that happening??
So, I've talked it over with my dad just now, and we've decided to focus on other mods and redo this module next semester. It was hard persuading my dad at first. But once he understood that I didn't have a clue to this module, he caved in. And it's true... I don't know shit about this stuff. Okay, maybe a lil' bit. But that lil' bit won't do shit for my exam. I'll probably get 2 marks at least. Pfft...yea right.
To think.. I have to take this damn thing AGAIN next semester.

I caught 'Bourne Identity' on HBO just now, and it rocked!! If you like 'Enemy Of The State', you'd love this movie.
Yes, ladies and gents, I have HBO yet again! We didn't sign up for the extra package, but we got these free channels when my dad went to change the channel box at SCV's service center. Apparently, something about the old set made my tv go haywire, so my dad went to change it for a new one, and we got all these free channels. I think they'd reset it back when April ends. But I really hope not, 'coz I wanna watch 'Simone' on HBO on May 1st.
So yes, instead of studying (like I planned), I've been...watching tv. But I'll try to hit the books tomorrow. I promise!!

Forgive me if you ever think I'm trying to fish for compliments about myself. It's a total misunderstanding.
I have low self-esteem, and a low confidence level. And sometimes I rant on and on about me, being unpretty and all that shit. It's not that I'm trying to "hint" for compliments, it's just me thinking aloud. Everybody has their bad days y'know? I just have more of those than other people. I don't know why I'm like this. Growing up in a negative environment (school wise) I guess. It's just that, I've been put down alot when I was younger, by people who themselves had issues. And after hearing so many negative comments about me, I have grown to believe it myself. I guess now I have to learn to shut all that negativity out and have more confidence. I'm working on it. So, just to let y'all know.. I'm not trying to get praise and what-nots from y'all. I'm just thinking aloud.
What brought on this whole hoo-ha? Well, I was watching 'America's Top Model' just now, and there was this one girl called Giselle. She's a beautiful girl who aspires to be a model, but she always puts herself down. ("Ocean Avenue" on the radio now btw.. Woohoo!!) Anyway, I'm kinda like her in a way, that I know I'm not down-right UGLY, and yet I put myself down alot. Even today. Ask Nat. Just that, sometimes I feel like I don't deserve to be noticed, or be liked. It's stupid, I know, but I'm just like that.
I'm going to change. I'm going to be more confident, more awake, and more outspoken this year on. It's going to be me against the world.

I dreamt I had 3 accounts. One had $2.## (## means something-something cents), another had $145.##, and the other one had $2000.##!!! Holy crap!! I have 2000 motha-fucking-dollars in my account!! Mann...if it were real... I'd be flying off to Australia right now...
Sigh, sadly, the reality is the total opposite. I'm flat broke.

'Intolerable Cruelty' was intolerable. I just caught it on DVD and it was boring. I kept skipping scenes and playing it when it seemed interesting. It did have an interesting story behind it, but the whole thing was draggy.
'She's All That' is one of my all-time fav romantic-comedy teen-flicks. I just luuurve teen-flicks. '10 Things I Hate About You', 'Not Another Teen Movie', 'Cruel Intentions', etc... I don't quite like the spacey kinda flicks, or the kung fu kind, or the time-travel kind.. 'Cept for a few, but I don't like most. CARTOONS!!! I absolutely love those. 'Finding Nemo', 'Little Mermaid', 'Monsters Inc', etc. Disney flicks are almost always good. The princess editions are always a classic. Esp the old Disney classics such as, 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Snow White', etc. I mean, look at the backgrounds. All watercoloured and hand drawn. Painstakingly done for our pleasure. All worth it dude. It made Mr Disney fuck-loads of money.
I love movies, just that I can't ACTUALLY go to the movie theatres right now to watch them. I ain't got no cash. Just have to wait for my bro to burn all the current ones on DVD. Ya know, most movies out in Singapore right now, have been out months back, some, even a year. Seriously... And I just hate that Singapore retricts stuff, like 'American Pie', and rate it "RA". Yes, I do agree the content is a little to the explicit side. But I'm sure by now, 12-16 year olds have learnt what sex is and most of which, have done it themselves already. The ignorance of the government. Old-fashioned and naive.
I mean, seriously, do they really expect 13-yr olds to be in the cinemas, watching Shannon Elizabeth nude in 'American Pie', to be wanking themselves in the theatre? I highly doubt the lil' boy would even dare touch near his dick area. Ya know, being all "conservative" and all. I mean, they could look up "30 positions to Karma Sutra" up on the internet. Showing these "RA" shows won't do shit to the underaged kids, when they look it up anything themselves, on the internet. Visual and audio aids are out there, for their young virgin eyes to see.
Okok, I do agree that most explicit movies should not be accessible for underaged kids to see. So, implement a retrictions. Not "RA". What about us younger than 21? How about more "NC-16"s? And for the shows on tv. The ones that have scenes cut out. We're not stupid ya know? We can tell if somethings cut out. It's obvious. Duh! The might as well don't show it at all. Take 'Fight Club'. Do you know, we missed most of the "funnier" scenes? Like, y'know how Edward Norton was explaining how Brad Pitt works in the film backroom, and he cuts little film from porn flicks and adds them to other seemingly normal films. Well, towards the end of 'Fight Club', there was supposed to have a short flash of a picture of a dick. Ya know, to add some comic relief to the show. But no, Mediacorp cut that out. Not that I really really wanted to see the picture of the dick. The point is, they're cutting small lil' things like that. What ELSE are they cutting out??
I just hate the retrictions that Singapore has. How wearing mid-drifts are considered "revealing". Even my grandma doesn't like the way I dress. I can't help it that I'm tall. That's why I recommended her giving me money to buy more clothes. Haha, nah I'm kiddin.
So anyway, I'm really really considering migrating to the USA. I'm not kiddin. I'm just bored with Singapore and sick at it's antics. The way we're governed, the way we're controlled. USA has more freedom. Yes, I know there'd be racism, crime, even war. Higher risks, I know, I know. But I feel more comfortable there. I miss the US. I really do. Now, it's just the money issue...
So I'm going to start on my studying tomorrow. No really... ... ... ... Ok, stop laughing...

I have to stop this. These late-night/mornings-stay-up sessions.
I also have to stop caring what people think about me. The way I look, the way I dress, and the way I am. I've always thought I didn't care, but I do, I still do. One point of time, I really didn't give a shit-ass what people thought of me: Like me or don't like me, it's either one or the other. I didn't care if people didn't like me, or if people did. It's their choice. Not mine. I couldn't make them like me anymore than they did or hate me more. That was me.. Now, I've been more and more self-concious than normal. I don't like the way I look, the way I dress (I wished I had money to buy the dresses I want), and the way I am.
I think it's the oblivious stress talking. Knowing I'm supposed to be stressing on SOMETHING, I'm stressing on stupid things like other people's opinions on me. I need to focus. I need to focus on important stuff. Focus focus...

I've been sleeping at around 5-7am everyday. Why? I don't know.
My exams start next Friday, on the 31st, and I haven't started on anything. I can't even remember what the first paper is. Why am I so slack? I mean, I know I SHOULD study, and CAN study, but I just...won't.
I really need to sit myself down, somewhere with no distractions, and hit the books. But my mind has been on other things. And I hate this period of time. I hate it when I know I'm supposed to be doing something important but my mind's just somewhere else. Take my 'O' levels for example. I SHOULD'VE started studying, like, AT LEAST a month before, but noooo...I started either a few days before, or (for my History paper) the day before. Yes messieur-dames, the day before an 'O' level paper.
The Lord has blessed me these few semesters though, with marks beyond my wildest assumptions. Modules I ought to fail, I passed. Miracle I tell you, a God-given miracle (at this point I wanted to swear, but in this paragraph, especially when it involves God, I shall retrain myself. I at least owe him that, don't you think?).
So the next week, though school's officially over, I shall be studying, or at least, trying to study. Sooo tempted to go out to tan but no. I need to do this. For myself and especially for my parents.
So ciao guys! I shall disappear for awhile. For a week or so. Don't worry, I'd still be online and on my blog to update on weird sightings (I'm thinking of doing a thesis on weird hairdos, but I so need a digi camera for pictorial references), and anything worth blogging about yea? So you guys enjoy yourselves with clubbing and all that shit we normally do. But of course I'm starting this whole study-till-I-explode expedition on Monday. Wouldn't want to waste my last weekend would I? Ayee...

Okay, so I made it home and I managed to get some sleep. I woke up just in time for the results of last night's American Idol. Too bad for the lady who got booted out. American's are stupid, need I say more?
I ate my dinner, chai tao kuay (shit, I hope I got the spelling right), and watched 'The O.C'. Mann, I really really love the show. And now that I've watched some of the later episodes, I can rest assure, predicting how the whole story will turn out, instead of nail-biting my way throughout the show. Funny how I'm toally drawn to this show. Especially when (in school) Syaz and I first saw Rashid approaching us, and we both asked him (at the same time) "The O.C?".
I'm still on the fence deciding whether or not to go to classes tomorrow. Offically, tomorrow would be the last day of school. No more classes, and study break will be on. But then again, I would still be going to school, more often in fact, to study for the upcoming exams.
So tomorrow, I have 3 options: 1) Go to school then meet the gang and chill, 2) Meet Erika (haven't seen her in a while), 3) Stay home and rot. The first and second options beats the third, but it involves money. Money, that I do not have. So maybe option 3 is the best outa the lot afterall... Argh, I have to sleep on this.

Perfect, Fucking perfect! I thought I'd stay in school a little longer to accompany Syaz. Then it rains. It's pouring like it does in England I tell you. It's mad how all this water can come out from the sky.
How am I going to go home to sleep now? I'm fucking tired and I'm fucking bored. There's nothing to do in school, 'cept study, but I'm not in the mood for all that. I want my bed, I want to sleep. Should I take a cab? But that requires money, money which I do not have. I could borrow, but that means, paying it back again, and that still requires money. So solution? ... ... ... I've got none. And after an hour of waiting for the rain to stop, I don't think I'll ever make it home, dry and asleep on my bed, till a few more hours. PERFECT!

It's a freaking miracle! Of course, I cheated. All the guys who passed were feeding me answers in class. In front of the teacher too. Without their help, I would'ce been dead. Failing this test means failing the module. Ha, I guess I should've thought about that and actually study rather than going clubbing. But hey, I have no regrets. Just tired...
I'm going to go home to sleep now. Byyyye (yawn)...

I just got home from Zouk. Yes, again.
I had a grrreat time. Tho Phuture was fucking packed, we all still managed to have fun. Sara is such a character. I really love her so. So animated in her own way. Sigh, dearie, don't ever change.
I didn't get high, I only drank 1/2 a lambo. But I did manage to have fun. ALOT of NP ppl were there tonight. It's crazy.. I hate to bump into people from school, outside of school. It's just...weird.
Undesired moments:
1) At Phuture, while I was making my way out of the dance floor, I went past this guy from school (China guy I think), and he grabbed me by my waist. I pushed him away, of course. But I felt so violated. It's like, I don't know this guy, this guy's from my school, and he has the nerve to touch me! ARGH!
2) Oh, and I bumped into 2 people I didn't want to bump into. The time spent with one of them proved that he's over me, and the other, proves that he's still a jerk. Oh well, either way, I don't want to bump into them again. It's...awkward.
Other than those two incidents, I had a great time. We danced, we laughed, we poked fun, and we enjoyed ourselves.
Oh wait, there was another incident that I did not pleasently enjoy. Jenny and I were flagging down a cab, and when one stopped in front of us, some bitch comes running, and steals our cab! Jenny and I didn't make a big fuss 'coz hey, there was a whole line of cabs behind. But, I mean, it's the principle. You don't just go around stealing people's cabs y'know?? People can be so rude sometimes. I mean, if she'd asked nicely (y'know if she really needed a cab badly), we would've just let her have it, no biggie. But she just slipped into the cab w/o a please or thank you. Bitch.
I won't be able to club for the next 2 weeks 'coz of exams. So I guess that'll give my liver some time to recover from my weekly dosage of alcohol. No worries. Ciao folks!

I just realised that the girl who played "Marissa" in 'The O.C', is in Enrique Iglesias "Addicted" video. She went topless too btw, what a shocker. She seemed so, conservative. But she's hot in the video, so guys would love it, tho it's an Enrique Iglesias video.
I watched a couple of videos on launch.yahoo.com. They have a wide selection of videos, esp new vids. So I often go there to check out new videos released. You guys should go check it out. Downsides though, is that, if your connection is slow, the video might get jerky, and the videos you watch are undownloadable. It doesn't save the video on your comp in the internet temp folder, it just stores the link. Smart bastards. I'm looking for another alternative for downloading videos. Kazaa is slow.
Watched Britney Spear's new video "Everything". It's aight. She looks quite good. But her acting, ugh, her acting. Cannot make it. The concept to the video is interesting tho. She's trying to show something, like, when someone dies, another life is born, kinda thing. Yea, well... I watched Jessica Simpson's video "Take My Breath Away" too. Typical all-american video. Her, driving down a desert, la-dee-da... BORING!
I watched other videos, like Avril Lavigne's new one "Don't Tell Me", and Hanson's new one "Penny & Me". Avril still looks good. Beginning to love the song. Hanson, on the other hand, not a big fan of the song. Quite alright, but the video features yet another 'The O.C' girl. This girl will be introduced into the series soon, in later episodes. She plays "Anna". Blonde chick who like "Seth". Yea, I could get into it, but it'll be too long.
Okay, I'm going to go watch a movie on my comp now. Ciao folks!

I had spent 5 hours in school after school, watching 'The O.C" on Rashid's laptop. After the first 2 hours, I had butt-ache. The cyber cafe doesn't exactly have comfortable seats.
'The O.C' rocks mann... I'm totally into the guy who plays "Ryan". He's just so adorably cute. When I first caught 'The O.C', I thought the actors looked mediocre. But no, they grow on you. Especially "Ryan". I love his "..." looks. You should watch out for it. He does it at least 5 times each episode. Soo cute... The show definitely gets the guy viewers as well. Hey, just look at the female cast. They're gorgeous! The story around the whole show is quite alright. It's like 'Gilmore Girls' (male version), meets 90210. Sigh, Benjamin Mackenzie... That's the name of the guy who plays "Ryan". He's just so charming. But I read in some magazine, that he and the girl who plays his romantic interest in the show, are dating in real life. Oh well.. The guys who plays "Seth" is quite cute too. He has this lisp tho.
I watched, like, episode 1 and 2 on Channel 5 so far, and episodes 12 (or 13), 16, 18 to 22 already. Yea, I know, it's all over the place, but it's addictive I tell you. Syaz is totally hooked on it now. She's only seen it today and she's totally into it. Sigh, what to do? 'The O.C' just gets to you.
Can't wait to see the upcoming episodes. Can't wait till Thursday... Oh wait! No, wait, I take that back. Thursday is my final test for IN4. Errr, maybe I CAN wait till Thursday...

Right now, my hamsters are squeeking at each other. Probably fighting. Should I stop it? ... (listens for squeeks) ... Nope, they're done.
We bought a new cage the other day btw. It's this multi-story new-aged cage. Damn funky mann... It's blue (my sis's fav colour), has two stories and an "attic". The first and second stories are connected by a short yellow tube. The 2nd floor, is their "kitchen" so to speak. Or dining area. That's where the food tray is, and their water bottle. The "attic" is somewhat a 3rd floor. It's accessed from the first floor through longer yellow tube. The "attic" has nothing there yet, besides the corn-cob and wood shavings bedding, but we've yet to buy more things to attract them there. These things costs money y'know?? And there's the running wheel on the first floor, and their bathing area too.
Wah.. These hamsters have it made mann... They have an awesome cage, high-fibre diet, exercise equipment, and once in a while, tasty treats. Such as, rice, corn flakes, nut bar, etc. And it doesn't even cost them a cent! Lucky bastards.
So anyway, Speedy (the gay one) is now a squeeker. Usually it's fatty that squeeks, 'coz it was often raped by Speedy. But now, Speedy squeeks 'coz now, fatty rapes him! YES! We have no officially have gay hamsters. Their testosterone level must eb quite high these days, 'coz they've been fighting too. Like the other day, they were on the 2nd floor before they started fighting. In the end, Speedy fell from the 2nd floor to the 1st and he quickly escaped to a corner near the running wheel. I couldn't do anything about it. I mean, if I had tried to stop the fight, they would've probably bit me.
Speedy got hurt the other day. A big ol' scratch across his 3rd and 4th finger on his right hand. I think the plastic cut him, the poor thing. But no worries, he's fine, and all better now that his wound has healed. I don't know why I feel this much compassion towards these 2 rodents, but I do. They make me laugh I guess. With their silly antics and all. Nat finds them adorably entertaining too. She saw one of them lose their balance and drop into the tube. We're mean, we know.
I want a dog. A miniature schenauzer or a jack russel. Sigh, the day I get one, is the day I move out. My mom's not a big fan of dogs. My dad, had 8 bull terriers. He's told me of many stories of how his dogs would come back from a fight, beaten up by neighbours from killing their dogs. Or how they'd see a cat outside the fence and they'd jump and climb over the wired fence and chase it down till they kill it. Gruesome, I know. But how utterly amusing at the same time, don't you think??
I'm sick, I know. I need to study and rest up for tomorrow. Night peeps.

Had a fuuuccking splitting headache this evening. But after 2 Panadols and a BK Mozerella Melt meal, I was all better to go for Mark's friend's party in Changi.
The party sucked. Mostly "coloured" people. Chinese were but a minority. The party was boring 'cept when they had a belly dancer perform and 2 fire-twirlers (Is that what you call them??). 'Newayz, the fire-"twirlers" were not bad. I mean, no one got seriously burnt, y'know?? But they did goof up a little here and there, but it's understandable. I mean, hello?? Fire = hot = dangerous = OUCH. Get the picture?
So we all left at around 3-ish. Headed to Changi Village to eat Nasi Lemak. The stall was closed, so we just drank while only Gek Puay and Paul ate Nasi Lemak from another stall. Bi Zhen sent Siu Fang and myself home.
On the way home, get this, Shu Fang started spraying her Chanel on herself. In the car. When it's enclosed. When we're all going home. I really didn't see the point. I personally didn't like it that much at first, but Bi Zhen did, so he asked her to spray more. Reluctant to waste anymore of her precious Chanel, she (she sat at the backseat) stretched out her hand towards the aircon, and sprayed twice. The mist flew into Bi Zhen's eyes and we had to pull over at the side of the road for him to recover from the sting. Then he started to evaluate his eye injuries for the night. Just one more from the party. Maddie's fist missed his face and hit him in the eye. Sorry dude, but it's funny!!! Hahahahaha, okay...I apologise. Please send me home next time.
Today's Maddie's birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!
Hope you'll have good one. AND...follow your mom's advice for your 19th year. Y'know... Mom's are always right. Pfft, yeeeaa...
Besides the boring party, I actually had a good time. Hanging with the peeps and all. Laughing-out-loud, fumbling with words, and just talking. Sweet and simple. Life doesn't need to be that complicated does it?
I went into the kitchen just now to get water, and found coffee cups (meant for guests) drying on the sink. I guess my mom and dad invited some people over just now. *shrugs* So then I opened my fridge and found a platter of Brie cheese and crackers. ... ... ... Yes, I had some. Duh!! Who can resist such a yummy treat?? Damn, I feel like having more. But NO! I need to eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full. It's my new philosophy towards eating. I'm getting bigger and I don't like the way I look now. So, I shall cut down on extra food, and cravings. Sigh, it's so haaard.
So tomorrow's church. I doubt I can even wake up at 8am, now that it's 4:17am. We'll see I guess. I might go then come home to sleep. Or don't go and sleep more, and get up later when my folks go to my grandparent's for lunch. It'll depend on my mood. Okay, tired now. Sleep!

2 stupid caucasian guys (barely 18 I think) tried to pick us up today. They asked, "So how old are you guys?". Sara said something like, "too old for you guys". Then one of them continued by saying, "Older...than 20?". That's when Madd and I started laughing. Poor Sara. The guys persisted by asking Shu Ping for her age. Shu Ping just stood there acting all blur. Then he asked, "Do you speak English?". ... ... ... ... ... ... Stupid Americans.
Singapore's not some ulu ulu country with no signs of civilisation. Hello?? You did try to pick us up outside of ChinaBlack???!!! I'm sure clubbing is primative.
We watched Jerrod strut his stuff in front of a club full of people. This was in Lola - Centro. You should've seen the crowd. Homos everywhere. I've got nothing against them. Just weird to see them checking out the models, err, pieces. It was some Male underwear fashion show, and dearest Jarrod was on stage (I think) 3x or 4. Most of the time, in a thong. Yes, ladies and gents. A THONG!
During the finale, all the models came out for one last time and Jarrod wore his lil' thong and a black biker hat. He looked like a male stripper. All that was missing, was a whip.
At the end of it all, we went to Baker's Inn and Madd and Jarrod had their latte. We chatted a little then Madd and I headed home.
I was just checking out my purchases made this afternoon. Nat and I went shopping. Whoo! So destressing.
I love buying stuff. For me, or for other people, I just love buying things! I so need to be rich. I'm running low of cash already. In fact, my dad is loaning me 100 buckeroos so that I can buy this bikini I found at Tannlines. It's on sale too! It's $93.45 actually. But it's 30% off, AND an extra 10% off tomorrow 'coz of some Paragon promo thing, AND 5% off for being a member. Whoo hoo!! 45% off, dudes and dudettes. Is this good or what??
So I'm going to pick it up tomorrow after work. Madd and Shu Ping will be joining me there. They're going ahead to see if they can find anything. Then they'd purchase whatever they find when I meet them 'coz I have an extra 5% off with my member card. So they'd definitely have 15% off whatever they buy tomorrow. And depending on how many % off they get on their chosen piece (diff swimwear, diff discount), it may even be 45% off like mine, or even more! Gawd, I'm beginning to sound like an ad. I apologise.
Right-O! Time for bed. 'Dios!

Went to Zouk last night. By the time I got there, all the girls were high and drunk, esp Madd. Poor girl puked twice. Don't worry hun, y'know I've got your back.
The music was aight. Some favs, some unheard-of, and some, downright dance-worthy. The peeps were great, as usual. All grooving to the beats. I'm surprised Paul didn't drag us to Zouk to mambo. We were all in Phuture the whole night, some of us disappearing and reappearing through the night. Saw Sheryl too! Surprised to see her. Didn't know she was back. Oh well...
So we were at Zouk to celebrate Maddie's upcoming birthday this Sunday. Main objective of the night (not thought out by me): Get Maddie drunk! And they succeeded. Madd was high for some time. Whoo-hoo-ing here and there. Then she got tired out and slept at the bar. Nabil took care of her while we all went back to dance, a good song came on. Maddie returned to us announcing that she puked at the bar and was (on a lighter note) feeling much better! So we continued to dance and after awhile, she didn't feel so good again, so we went out for some air. There, I sat her down on a bench and she puked alot of liquids out. While she puked, I went to get her some napkins and a glass of water. She wiped herself and drank up. Then splashed some of her remaining water onto her friend near us. Her friend was loud, annoying loud, so she just threw water at her. Yea. Then Madd threw the glass onto the ground next to her. That was when I thought: Great, I can't return that now.
We went back in, before I came out again, alone, for some air. I hate it when the floor's packed with people "trying" to dance. Fuckers who don't have to take so much space, take so much space. Fuck it. Outside has space. So 10 mins outside, Erik came walking by. He just came from eating with his other friends. So we talked. Then the whole gang came out. Jere was pissed drunk too. Worse than Madd was. Madd was fine by then, but not Jere. Poor guy, felt like puking but didn't, or maybe couldn't. I wouldn't know.
I left in a cab with Jennifer. She lives near me. We talked about some stuff, and the topic of Gerald came up. My dearest brudda was on the dance floor with Jen smooching their faces off. I was shocked, to say the least. I mean, yea, you all know. Everyone's reaction was about the same with mine. Drop-jaw with puzzled.
So I got home, got changed and all, and then realised, I have 2 tests on the next day (which is, as of now, today). I failed one, passed the other. No problemo, the one I failed isn't that important. At least I think so.
I love the song by D12 - "Band". It's funny shit. "The chicks don't even know the name of my baaaand.."
My classmate's playing good tunes on his comp mann.. First D12 now Beyonce - "Naughty Girl". Club-worthy song.
Aight, gotta do some work now. Ciao!

This is strange. I've never gotten anyone who'd come up to me and ask if she's able to sit at my table. Especially not in school. Especially not at the cyber cafe: Each-a-cup. There's nothing wrong with it. But I just feel...strange.
So she's sitting across me, with her bubble milk tea and store-bought Danone chocolate chip cookies, reading her newspaper. She seems pretty normal. Maybe she's gay? I don't know. I don't know her. Okok, she's looking up. I'd better stop now.

So anyway, good news. I got 90/100 for my Automobile Technology presentation!!! Whoo hoo!! Time for a celebration...

This had been the longest one hour of my life.
My whole estate had a black out. In fact, even Bukit Gombak had no power. I know, ‘coz Nat lives there. When the tv went out, and everything was dark, I just laid there, still, on my couch. I didn’t know what to do. Plus, I’m especially blind at night, so I didn’t want to move around and hit stuff along the way. Lucky thing, my bro came out of his room with a little-ity-bity LED light. It was bright I tell you, but you had to press it hard for it to light. So we started to break light sticks and put them around the house. I started lighting tealights as well. So the whole house was lit, well enough for me to avoid bumping into things.
So for one whole hour, I didn’t know what to do. There was no power, I couldn’t go online or watch tv and I couldn’t do my project ‘coz I needed to research online. It was so hot and stuffy in my house too. The weather was just roasting me in my own home. So I went to take a shower. 2 mins after I came out, I started perspiring again. Great.
I didn’t know what else to do in the house. So I decided to switch on my comp and do whatever I could on my project till the battery runs out. Then I decided I wanted a drink, so I went to the kitchen and saw the kiosk opposite my house lit. People were in the mart, and it seemed air-conditioned. So I got changed and headed down. When I got the ground floor, I noticed the street light flicker on. I was, like, whoo-hoo!! POWER! Ok, so I went to take the lift up to my house, but the lift door wouldn’t open. It had reset and it was in “park” mode. Great. Now that the power’s back on, I can’t get back to my house. Then the lift door opened and I went up.
The lights in my house were back on. The fans were running, the air-con was on, and I celebrated with a can of Pepsi Twist with ice. It never tasted this good. *burp*
I’ll never take electricity for granted ever again mann. Especially on hot nights like these. Whoo… And I’ll never take air-con for granted too. It’s such a necessity. I’m spoiled, I know. Cheers to that.

I take this module, MPI (Micro...err...wait, let me check. MICROCONTROLLER PROG & INTERFACE). Ya see, I don't even know what it's acronym meant. Anyway, I'm annoyed by the fact that the next batch of students don't have to take this useless module. Great. I hate this module. It's fucking stupid. This is a sample:
#include
char xdata OPORT _at_ 0x0000;
char xdata IPORT _at_ 0x0001;
void delay1ms (unsigned char n) {
TR0 = 0;
TMOD = TMOD & 0xF0;
TMOD = TMOD | 0x01;
TH0 = (-2000*n) >> 8;
TL0 = (-2000*n) & 0x0ff;
TF0 = 0;
TR0 = 1;
while (TF0 != 1);
}
void main (void) {
unsigned char n;
while (1) {
n = IPORT;
OPORT = 0x00;
delay1ms(n);
OPORT = 0xFF;
delay1ms(n);
}
}
Get it? I don't.

Just realised I have 6 assignments due this Wednesday. I haven't even started on one. Die.
I didn't go for a lab test today. I knew I'd fail anyway, so why bother? So I'd be going for the retest next Monday. That way, people who have gone for the test this week would be able to teach me a few things before MY test. Shh...
I think I'm PMSing. Either that or my classmate from French class is just pissing me off. Ya see, we're supposed to prepare this whole dialogue for class, and she asked if we should pair up. I was reluctant la, 'coz she's quite weak at French, but I agreed. Then I asked her to draft something out, and send it ot me via email. We were supposed to submit via email to our lecturer by Wednesday last week. She didn't send a draft to me till Friday. I didn't go online on Friday 'coz, well, I was busy, so I planned to check on Saturday instead. But no, my internet connection couldn't work. So I finally got to see her "draft" on Sunday. By then, I was up to my neck with other projs and assignments that I've yet to do. So I asked another friend of mine to help me out with it. He told me that most of her "draft" was directly copied from the book and there were lots of empty spaces of missing dialogue. Basically, the whole thing half-half. She didn't even put in any effort and she's putting all this workload on me. Yea, my French is better (not to sound ego and all), but hello?? Try y'know?? So anyway, I checked my NP email inbox and found that she submitted HER draft to the lecturer without going through me. And of course, my lecturer said the same thing. "Your dialogue has alot of missing parts." Wow, thanks. I mean, she knew it wasn't good, and yet she submitted it. How completely stupid!!
So anyway, I bumped into her in a corridor 2 hours before class, and I asked her why she submitted the "draft". "Oh, you didn't get back to me, so I just sent it in." I'm like, WHAT??? She sent it to me, late, and expects me to write the rest (btw, I rewrote the whole thing, b'coz her's didn't make any sense). I mean, I'm fucking pissed off at how incredibly imbecilic she is!!! And you know what?? YOU KNOW WHAT??? We had a French test today too. And she sat next to me, and during the test, she was covering her paper!! I mean, she has NEVER done that before. In fact, she'd usually glance over MY paper. OMG!!! She's such a bitch!! Oh yea, right, like I wanna copy your answers darhling. Fuck off!!
ARGH!!! I need a drink.

I can't believe how long ONE project takes me to complete. It's utterly dumbfounding.
So here I am, 3rd day in a row, staying back in school, doing my project. I was supposed to present it on Wednesday, but since I found out that we could do it next Wed, I'd decided to do a better job it and present it next week. If not, I would've totally left out 1 whole question out of 3. Got some extra info from the people who presented already, heh.
Went to Zouk last night. Wasn't as fun as last week. Maybe 'coz I wasn't high, huh. Drank 2 teq shots only. Yea, I know, that isn't my (quote from SaraDJ) "standard drink quotient". I didn't want to drink too much either. I couldn't. The first shot tasted so salty. They probably added too much salt on the rim and it probably spilled into the drink. And the second, just didn't go down well. It maybe 'coz I was hungry and the drinks just made me feel sick. But I danced it off. 3 hours straight. I woke up with a cramp in my right calf this morning. Pain as hell. So anyway, bumped into a few people. I never realised how much I missed the gang. I didn't even realise it last week. I guess my mind's been busy with schoolwork and all. Hope to chill out with ya guys soon yea?
So let me give you the 411 on what happened last night. Phuture was packed. People who can't dance, danced. People who have absolutely no sense of touch, were bumping me left right and center. AND guys were touchy.
When I was about to go out for some air, some guy I past put his hand on my waist and slid it down to my thigh. I turned around and pushed the guy. "Oii, why are you touching me?" The guy just stared forward ignoring my question. So I pushed him again. "WHY did you touch me??" He didn't look at me, but just gave me a shrug. Fucker.
Then on the way out, the place was totally packed. No one could move in or out. So then I was stuck inbetween my friend, Rongyan and this really tall Malay guy behind me. Then I felt his hands on my hips. I turned my head and frowned at him. Then he tried his luck again and put his hands on my ass. This time, I elbowed him in the stomach. He backed off, and the line started to move. What is wrong with these people?? I'm just disgusted by them. Now I remember why I didn't like to club at Zouk/Phuture. 'Coz they attract people like this.
I really like Phuture, but now I'm not too sure. I think China Black's alot better. The music, the space and most of all, the crowd. Familiar crowd.
I ate at Alameen early this morning. After clubbing and all. Ate cheese prata and Egg prata. It was yummy. But I totally craved for Kumbing soup and Stingray...
(Homer-impression) Mmm...Stttiiinngggraaayy
The other day I ate dinner out with my dad, mom and lil' sis. We went to the Bukit Timah hawker centre. I love going there. All my favourite foods under one roof. Then again, I love almost every other kind of food, so... But anyway, my dad had his Mutton soup w/ rice. My lil' sis had Chicken porridge. My mom had Chicken porrige with Century egg, which she shared with me. It was the chope kind. Thick and yummy. The Tiong Bahru kind. Mmm.. Then I had Fried carrot cake (I don't know how to spell it in hokkien). And we shared...sttttiiinngrrraaay It was alright. Nice. But nowhere can ever beat Newton's one. The thick stingray and sambal combi. Gawd, my mouth's watering as I'm typing this.
I seriously need find another craving alternative to stingray. This is ridiculous!

I don't know how to do this. Why did I even take this module??? I should've just stuck with what everyone else was taking, instead of straying. What am I talking about? My IS module: Automobile Technology.
I like cars, I do, but all the technical aspect to it doesn't interest me as much. I thought it would, but no. So the problem is now, I failed my first test already, I hadn't handed up my assignments 1 to 10, and my project's going nowhere. On top of that, I lost my cd-rom which contains all the lecture slides. And I can't get it anywhere else, 'cept through classmates. But I don't know the people in this class. I'm the only one from my course who's in it! I'm dead. The project's due tomorrow and there are 3 questions, all unanswered. I've spent the last 3 hours looking for the answers for the first 2 questions, but no, the wonders of the internet did not help. How hard is it to find a list of "10 Bestseller saloon cars in Singapore for the Year 2003"??? Not as hard ya?? WRONG!!! I've tried looking everywhere, but it's nowhere to be found. Plus, I need to find out all 10 makings, model and technical specifications. Great.
So here I am, in the school library trying my darnest to research for this project. I finished school at 12 today btw. And I'm planning to stay in school till the library closes, and get this thing done by tomorrow. Sigh, school sucks.

"Up on the rooftop listening to punk rock..." - Mest
I found a nice, quiet, peaceful spot in school to just clear my mind. It's an open-aired car park, like a rooftop, and I sat there for about half an hour, sipping on hot soup and listening to MXPX. It was really relaxing.
I watched 'Eye for a Guy' just now on Channel 5. Saw the contenders and sad to say, I wasn't impressed. What was with the guy who talked about gay topics?? He kept bringing it up. Stupid guy got himself booted out. Smart girl, wise choice. And there's this other guy who totally got on my nerve. He's the one who we've been seeing on the show's trailer. The guy who says something like, "I want to punch you" to another guy. He's such a loud mouth who talks waaay too much for his own sake. And what about the other guy who sang the stttuuuupid frog song??? Where did they get these people?? They're total retards!! Good gawd, no wonder Mr CLEO bachelor won this too. He wins hands down. The rest of the guys are no competition.
Rachel Lee is, surprisingly, prettier than I first presumed. Can't quite make out her figure yet, but her face is...alright. Quite pretty, I'd give her "above-average". I mean, think Miss Singapore pageant. I saw the contestants, and good gawd, can't Singapore produce anyone else better??? The girl they chose, yea, I agree with people, is a little chin-a for my taste. But she's o-k. She won't win Miss Universe for sure (duh!), but hey, it could've been worse. I don't know, I didn't watch the damn pageant so I wouldn't know if any of the other contestants were any better. But anyone's better than that girl (Miss Singapore contestant 2001, I think) who answered a question with, "I'd take the handphone apart and put it together to send signals for help" *smacks forehead*.
Btw, MTV is showing little clips of 'Happy Tree Friends'. Funny shit.
Oh yea, it's weird, 'coz my brother's girlfriend resembles Rachel Lee. Just that, Rachel's the taller and body-beautiful version to his gf. They have the same kinda look I guess. Face and all. Huh, isn't that odd...
Die, die, die... I just found out that I've got this killer project due this Wednesday and I haven't even started on it. Die la, die la...

Went to a friend's birthday celebration at Costa Sands Chalet last night.
It was alright. People were friendly, but the "fun" lacked the actual fun-factor. So then, 2 of my coursemates and I went driving instead. Yea!! Driving again, *sigh*, I missed driving. I drove a rental. This Honda Civic with extra booster (I still don't know the actual term to that, but will let ya'll know when I do). It's such an "ah-beng" car I tell you. With blue lights everywhere. But it was such an experience driving it. It was manual, so yes, I had to use the stick gear. Not once did I stall (Last time I drove a manual, I stalled everytime I stopped). So yippee for me. But one of my coursemates stalled, thrice. And he drives btw.
Then we had to return the car to the chalet, so we went back, and got my friend's car instead. We then went to eat at Changi Village. I ate Nasi Lemak and it was sadaaap. I must go back there to eat again. I've always thought the place was overrated. Just another thing the East side people make up, to try to "one-up" West side people. But no, it lived up to it's expectations. But one of my other coursemates had to leave to send a drunked home. Even before getting a chance to eat. So he just got a drink and left the eating up to us. Poor guy, you should've seen his face. Like a lil' boy who couldn't part with his beloved Nasi Lemak. Sigh...
After the meal, we left to find a vacant spot for me to drive. I drove abit on the ol' stretch of road where the Aerospace was held nearby 2 months back. My friend asked me to turn left to another road, then realised it's some checkpoint for foreigners. He decides to trade places with me and turn the car around for me (it was a two laner and I haven't learnt 3-point turning yet). Lucky thing, we did, 'coz right when we closed the doors, a police car turned into the road. No, the police didn't stop us. We just calmly made our way far far away from them and onto the main road again. We then got to a vacant lot and I tried my auto-driving skills. I've driven before and esp 'coz it's an auto, it's easy. This time, I tried parking for the first time. Reverse and frontward. Reverse was hard for me 'coz I'm partially night-blind. But front was quite ok. I did it in 2-3 tries. Hey! It was my first time!!
So anyway, after all that driving, we returned to the chalet and it was just as we left it, boring. So then, I met up with Paul, Mark, Danny and Erik. They came to pick me up (thanks guys..) and even got lost on the way. And then we went to Bishan to eat Kuay Chap. It was good, damn, I should've eaten the noodles. But on the way there, Mark and I got lost (I was in Mark's car). Then Danny, Paul and Erik came to get us and we convoyed all the way to Bishan from Toa Payoh. And after the eating, Mark sent Paul and I home (thanks Mark!). I slept throughout the whole journey. I was beat. I reached home at 5am, I think.
I didn't go to Church as planned. My dad thought I'd be too tired so he didn't wake me. But the rest of my family went w/o me. My Dad thoroughly enjoyed it, my mom, bro and sis all gave me the same "It was ok.".
I really wanted to go. I guess I shouldn't have stayed out till that late. Nevermind... Next Sunday!
I was watching 'Fight Club'. It was such an abstract movie. Abstract in the sense that it was complex. Don't get me wrong, I understood the whole movie. But the complexness of it, just makes you think and ponder about the whole story. And alot of movies lack that aspect these days. This movie, I like.
I want to watch 'The Passion of Christ'. Alot of controversy over it and I want to see what's the big "hoo-ha" about it. Also, 'coz I wanna see how Mel Gibson interprets the story in his movie. I heard the Pope didn't like it. We'll see if I agree with his view. For 30 million dollars, it'd better be a good movie.
I feel like eating Kuay Chap now.
Pig's intestines anyone?

I went to Zouk last night. The place was packed, as usual. The music at Phuture began alright, but afterawhile it sucked. Zouk played Top 40s and Mambo.
Bumped into a whole bunch of people yesterday. Glen and Valerie, people I met the last time I went clubbing (Rongyan's friends). It was Glen's birthday and Pam asked me to come along to club with them. At the point when I agreed to it, I didn't know I knew the guy, till we all met outside of Zouk. People I met after that (in no particular order): Nic, Lesley, Woan Ting (I still don't know how you know Lesley), Sara, Madd, Sidney, Jennifer, ShuFang, Jarrod, Gerard, Gerald, Ivan, BiZhen, Paul, Jeremy, Clifford, ZhiQing, Oak and whoever else I left out and can't remember at this instant.
Total de-stressing period. Glen bought jugs, and I downed almost one whole jug of Cranberry Vodka on my own (heh, 'coz I was holding that one, and everyone else was busy, and I was thirsty, so yea). Btw, it tasted a little bit sourish and pukish. So yea, it wasn't good. The other option was Bourbon coke. And that's worse. So then, I decided to buy myself a couple of Tequila shots. I kept buying 'coz I thot, hey, I doubt anyone else is going to buy me drinks. Btw, Teq shots went up to $10.50 per shot. But of course, if it's in the 1-for-1 period, then it'll be for 2 shots. Still, it's pricey. So into the night, I bumped into Gerard (my Secondary school mate). He had never been to Zouk before, and I think he doesn't drink very often, being an athlete and all. I'm a little confused here. Last night, I thought Gerald's friends were Gerard's friends as well, but Gerard msged me thru Friendster just now asking about "these ppl". And if he was referring to the Gerald's friends, then I'm dumbfounded. I thought those were HIS friends. But anyway, one of guys told me to order whatever I wanted. I was thinking like, if I could really order whatever I wanted, you'd be broke dude. But no, I just asked for a Lambo. He bought me 2. Then it kept on coming. One after another one, after another one. I lost count. Gerald was just as Happy as I was. We just kept drinking it down. Then Sidney joined us. She drank 2, I think. Then she disappeared to gawd-knows where.
I was happy mann.. Woohoo-happy. I really needed that, needed the de-stressing. And free drinks just hit the spot. At the end of the night, I was pretty high, but not to the extend of being drunk, thank god. I shared a cab home with BiZhen and Ivan. I didn't want to go at home at first, 'coz I didn't want to go home high. But I did. I managed to get home, but went straight to bed. No bath, no nothing. Contacts still in. Make-up still on. At 9am (yes, 9am!!), I woke up. Like, wow, I'd be able to make it for my 10am class. But no, I was so weak. And still high. With blurred vision, I got into the shower, bathed, brushed my teeth and got out. I asked my sis to get me a glass of water. And I downed the whole thing. Mind you, my mug's huge.
I still ended up being late for class. And it was hard to sober up in school. I was so weak, and starving. So after my class, I went to eat. I just needed to get something in my stomach before I collapse y'know? So I did, and 2 cans of Chrysanthemum tea. I was so thirsty. Damn, getting high was so good, but being high in school... That's crazy. I tried to contain myself. It took me till 1pm to fully sober up. That's why I don't like to sleep when I'm high. 'Coz I know when I wake up, I'd still be high. Is that a hangover? I've always assumed that having a hangover means, having a splitting headache in the morning after. If that's so, I've never ever gotten a hangover. Not even my drunk episodes.
I told myself this morning to never go clubbing on Weds ever again. But now I'm having second thoughts. We'll see next week.
