This is just great. One of my friends just friendster msg me saying I look like a bimbo in my friendster pic. That does NOT help my self-esteem mann...

I'm alittle disappointed. He didn't talk to me, and I'm disappointed. I mean, yea, there wasn't a need to, but I could tell he wanted to talk to me, but he never did, and that's frustrating to me. That I know he wanted to talk to me, but didn't have the guts to. Argh...

Other than that, I did enjoy myself tonight at ChinaBlack. We had all our drinks paid for - the organiser kept giving us free drink coupons. I didn't mind, 'coz duh, I was broke and free drink coupons meant I get to drink more than I expect to. He even invited us to his VIP table to drink, but Sid and I felt kinda out of place. The people already there were unfamiliar, and well, we felt kinda uneasy to just go there to drink his drinks. So we just settled on the drink coupons and ordered our own drinks.

Music was aight. Nice songs here and there, but some unknowns too. I felt really strange trying to dance to songs I've never heard of. But the guys entertained me through the night, so all's well.

I really love clubbing. This coming Wednesday will be a continuation to the clubbing spree I have going on. Just hope I don't go too broke too soon.

I luuurve the new Beetle Volkswagen. It's a convertible, and the 'Harvest Moon' colour is swweeet. I just saw it, like, a few weeks back at Holland road. There was a mid-40s woman behind the wheel. Like wth yea? It's such a sweet ride I tell you. I usually hate Beetles but this is something I can see myslef drive. Maybe if I ever win 2 mill, I'd buy this car. Ha, yea right.. Me, a millionaire.

The definition of waking someone up is to actually wake them up. My mom's definition is: Say "wake up" then walk away.

This is why I've been missing Church. Hopefully, my small talk with her about it will enlighten her with a new perspective of the term "wake up".

I hope God doesn't punish me for missing Church.

Omg, the Great Singapore Sale in on mann.. Sigh, I'm so happy to be able to shop again. Mom/Dad will be giving me some money to buy new stuff too, esp new sneakers. They've seen my worn-out-and-almost-falling-apart red sneakers and they're sponsoring me a new pair soon. Heh. Seriously, it's really falling apart. I had to use double sided tape to stick the bottom of the shoe to the shoe itself! Yea, pathetic piece of shit.

So anyway, I need alot of new stuff. New skirts, new jeans, new tops, new shoes, mann... I could go on and on...

I've yet to wear my beloved Mango dress. Gawd, really, there's no occasion to wear it. I mean, c'mon, to normal clubbing it's abit over-dressy. Unless it's some real fantastic event, if not, it's waaay over-dressy. I'm not even sure there's such a word as "over-dressy". Argh who cares?

Btw, I really wanna do some fun activities soon. Like, ice-skating, or cycling, or rollerblading, or rock climbing. It's just so boring to do the same ol' same ol'. I need some change.

I've tried to go get my hair permed or something, but it costs $200 for a spa perm. Wtf?? Damn, hair salons are daylight robbers mann.. I can't believe people actually spend that kinda cash on their hair. I mean, yea, most of the time it turns out awesome. But it's hair... And I hate it when I go for a hair cut and the hair dresser asks if I'd cry if she cuts my long hair. I'm like, wha? C'mon, it's just hair. It'll grow back...eventually...

This is going to be a surprise to most. Yesterday, I was caught on camera. Kenneth's camera to be exact. It's a rare moment I tell you. I didn't mind it at all. I wasn't self concious and I was pretty alright. I think there's some shots of me in there that I wasn't aware of. Kenneth doesn't want to show me those parts, but I saw the parts where I knew I was filmed. I did turn my face away from the cam now and then, but I did eventually look at the camera. Ha, a big self-improvement might I say. I'm getting more comfortable with the camera I guess, and this is good. Good...for me...

I LUUURVE PUSS IN BOOTS!!! Or as El PaulO would say it - Pussy boots. Okay, that just sounds wrong.

Shrek 2 was aight. Everyone thinks it's super-duper fantastic. Maybe I was just tired that I couldn't enjoy to its full extend. We'll never know.. I just luuurve Puss in Boots. He rocks!!

I finally got to spend some time with the ol' gang. Almost everyone was there: Maddie, Diana, PaulO, Ben, Ivan, Kenneth, Zhen, Jere, Justin, Mark, Erik, Danny. I guess the only ones not there was Sara and Sid, Shupz and Jarrod. Hau Geng and Don came to say hi, but joined their own group of friends. Mann.. I missed everyone.

This coming Wednesday will be our "clubbing reunion" so to speak. Hopefully everyone would be able to make it.

Speaking of reunions, my BBQ pits will be the venue of this bi-annual 5A 2001's reunion. The usual venue was unavailable, so mine was next on the list. I hate hosting parties, it's such a drag. So troublesome, and the clean up - argh. Hopefully, everyone chips in to help out. It's this friday, but I've yet to hear of the actual plans. I might have to give one of the ex-monitors a call soon. I hated secondary school, but I kinda miss seeing the people I've so often seen for 5 years. Bitter-sweet I guess.

So anyway, Church tomorrow. I've promised God to attend Church if he'd pass me in MPI. Well, he did, so I have to keep my end of the bargain. It's really a freakin miracle I tell you. He must really want me to go to Church.

So night folks!

When I started on this entry, I had something in mind, but I now I forgot. It's 6:26am right now. The time on this entry might say otherwise, but that's how long I've been on the phone for. Drew and I talked for so long about gawd-knows what. I forgot.

I've got to get up at 9am for work later. But I can't sleep now 'coz I've just bathed and I need it to dry a little before I head to bed. I don't want fungus to be growing on my pillow now would I? Yea, that would be "nice".

There's a $20 spa voucher staring at me right now. I'm so tempted to just go ahead and pamper myself, but I'm broke. I've got to spend 50 buckeroos to be able to use the voucher, which means I just have to spend about 30 bucks in the end. It's worth it, but it's still useless, I don't even have $20. Argh.

Y'know what's good on a cool night? Ice cream.

I'm not a big fan of ice cream, but it's nice once in awhile. Zelia's totally obsessed with it, but now that she's in Vancouver, the cold weather might have altered her opinion. I was eating a Cornetto at around 10pm last night. It was good, but I would've preferred a Magnum Classic. Hey, what ever happened to the Space Cone. Y'know, it's kinda like a Cornetto. It's a cone ice cream, but it's totally chocolate instead of a mix of Vanilla and Chocolate in a Cornetto. I used to love that. It was totallly yummy to the core. *Homer impression* Mmm... Spaaace conne...

Alright, I need to update my phone book before I head to bed. So night! Erm.. I mean, morning!

Btw, Nic, it was great chatting with ya again. Thanks for the call.. Will talk to you soon...

It's so sad...

I was watching 'Oprah' on cable today, and she featured moms' and how their kids died or got injured.

Christine McFadden had 4 kids. When she went on her daily morning walks with her best friend at 6am, she didn't think that'll be the worst day of her life. While she was out on her walk, her ex-husband went into her home and shot all 4 children. The oldest girl - teen, has shot in the face, but she managed to drag herself out of her room all the way into the hallway. She died there. The rest of them were found shot in the head. The ex-husband, made a call to a friend, saying how his life was screwed up and how he couldn't live anymore, then he shot himself. Christine came home and found her dead daughter in the corridor. She called 911.

How sad is that? While I watched the montage, I cried. This woman's 4 children were shot in the head by her ex-husband, for no reason at all. And her children had such bright futures. Her two sons were star athletes. Her oldest daughter was a prima ballerina, and her youngest was only a toddler who wanted to grow up to be a veterinarian - like her mom. It's just brutal I tell you. For her ex-husband to just shoot them like that. Just 'coz he was having a breakdown.

I can't believe there are people like that out there. It just gives me a new perspective of the world I never knew.

In another story, a woman who had 5 children - all boys, was bringing 4 of 'em to lunch. All, at that time, were probably below 10 years of age. So anyway, she wanted to drop off a class bird that one of her kids brought home from school at home first, so she drove home, left the 4 kids in the car and rushed up to her apartment. In less than 2 mins, she came back and found the car on fire. One of her kids took the lighter and lit a piece of paper. He couldn't put it out and it started to inflame the car. All 4 kids couldn't get out - the doors were stuck. In the end, neighbours went to rescue all 4 and they were all sent to the hospital. The 2 oldest there, suffered 2nd degree burns while the two youngest both suffered 1st degree burns. The oldest of the 4 even said, "I tried to unbuckle his seatbelt, but it just melted".

Justin, now 6, is badly scarred from the burns. The youngest - Sean, 3, is completely disfigured. His face looks melted, and you can hardly see his eyes. I saw the before picture, and he was a such a bright-looking child, so cute and so full of life. Now, when he talks, his lips only move up and down. He can't even smile properly. It's just so sad.

At least she still has her kids. This other woman, parked outside a deli to get her son a drink. She left him belted up at the backseat with keys in the ignition. Little did she know, a convict, only released hours before, got into the car. Before he got to drive off, she opened the backdoor and tried to pull her son out of the car. The convict then started to speed off. The woman had her son in her arms, but 'coz the convict sped off, she couldn't hold on to her son. She let go, and her son was left dangling outside of the car - the seatbelt wrapped around his waist. The boy was dragged across the highway in full speed. He died.

I really cried when I heard these stories. I really can't believe these things happened to real people in the USA. It's just...unreal.

I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED!!!

I passed all my modules!! Including the one I planned to fail. Ha!

It's another God-given miracle! Really, if you knew how little I tried this semester, you'd understand why. Y'know, I prayed before I opened my email. And when I saw no 'F's and no remarks like "FAIL" or what-not, I jumped outa my seat screaming!! Okay, not screaming... More like excitedly glad-ish.

Sigh, I'm so relieved.

On another note.. I just came home from watching 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen'. It sucks. I like Lindsay Lohan, but this is not one of her better choice of film. But on the other hand, I can't wait to catch her in 'Mean Girls'. I'm sure it'll turn out better.

Y'know, I was walking to the Somerset bus stop to take a bus home, when an old man on a bicycle whistled at me. Eeeww... *shudder* This reminded me of a girl at Zouk last night. One of Erik's friends - which at that point of time, I didn't know. This girl, was right next to where the guys and I were dancing, and it was weird, 'coz she was looking at me. Maybe she wanted to steal one of the guys, but that thought quickly vanished from my mind, when she pushed away Kenneth and Ben (I think) and headed straight for me. She "went down" on me, and at that point, the only thing in my mind, was "Wo.". I gave the guys this "omg-get-her-off-me" kinda look, but they didn't do anythin to help me outa this situation. Thank gawd she saw how utterly violated I looked, and just walked away. Ugh.

Erik didn't help by telling me later in the night, that the girl was bi.

I attract all kinds of people I tell you. I must have, like, this thing that triggers off their psychoness and they just come right at me. Great.

I might be meeting up with some ol' friends tomorrow night. I don't know why, but one of 'em just smsed me outa the blue and invited me out to a party tomorrow. Huh... Zel, it's Celeste and Deb and May.

So anyway, I need to be getting some sleep soon. I only had 3 hours from last night aka this morning. But I doubt I'd actually sleep now NOW, 'coz I never do when I say I would. Argh, addiction to mah comp.

I just got home from Zouking, and I have the hiccups.

Phuture was packed as usual, and Zouk - alright. Met up with ppl I haven't seen in damn long - Sid, PaulO, Jere, Zhen, Erik, Ben, Kenneth, Gek Puay. Also met some other friends too. I even met some new people today. Mann.. I missed clubbing so much. I missed the drinking, I missed the dancing, and I missed the socialising. Today was really good for me.

I got to eat my STINGRAY!!! After Zouking, we all went to Newton to eat. That's where we met Gek Puay and her sis, and Shupz and Jarrod. Mann.. I really missed everyone.

I'm going to frequent clubbing these few weeks. And since I'm getting my pay very soon, I'll be going out more often too. Though of course, I will be on a tight budget. Don't wanna blow everything in the first week y'know?

Next clubbing day: Monday 31st May 2004 - ChinaBlack.

Oh shit. I just checked my school notice online, and it stated that my exam results are out. I just checked my email and it hasn't arrived yet, so... *cross fingers* Wish me luck! I'm going to need it. I think I failed 3 mods this sem.. Argh!! DIE!!!

I did plan to get up at 11am - but hey, what are the chances to that??

I got up at 3pm instead. Ate my "breakfast" and watched tv till 5:30pm. That's when I started on my "house cleaning".

I started with clearing the unused bottles of what-nots in the bathroom, then went on to clearing my room - organising my school notes (Pfft...notes), putting my pile of clothes back from where they came from, and sorted out my keeps and throwaways. Then I vacuumed my room. The damn mobile vacuum was low batt. How great is that?? My dad bought the damn thing so that I would be able to vacuum with ease - no wires, no pluggin in, no incredibly troublesome load. But nooo... In the end I had to take out the normal vacuum. Argh... So anyway, I vacuumed my room, then decided since it's already out, that I might as well do the whole house. I did everywhere but my parent's, my bro's and the kitchen. 'Coz by the time I was vacuuming the living room, my parents got back with my sis, and it was dinner time. But hey! At least I did something today.

I didn't go to the gym in the end. Vacuuming is hard work mann.. Plus, the weather doesn't help. I had sweat as much as I would've at the gym. Okay, maybe a little lesser than that but yea, I DID sweat...

Haha, Nat just told me she killed a mouse. "i stepped on it and it squeaked... and died" Hahahahahahaha...

She's feeling so guilty now. She thinks she's a murderer. Hahahaha.. Sorry Nat, I don't mean to be mean, but it's freakin funny... Hahahaha...

Hahaha.. wait wait.. read what she wrote.. "stepping on snails is funny.. but on mice? no.." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sigh, haha, okok..enough!!

I have this virus in my comp right now that's been bugging me. It keeps making pop-up windows. First it says "modF" then "funk". Wtf??

Went to town today. Was gonna catch a movie, but Nat's watched practically everything, so we just chilled around town. We walked in circles I tell you - always around the same areas.

Nat saw the funniest thing today. When we were walking into Borders, she said she'd spotted a man with his penis sticking out of his fly. "It was standing up!!" *shrug* I didn't see it. Apparently, he walked right by me.

I've been missing people all the time. What I mean is, I keep NOT seeing people around me. Like I didn't see this school runner from my Sec school when she walked past us. Nat saw her. This is very strange 'coz usually Nat's the blinder one.

We went to the Californian Fitness Centre. We just wanted to check it out. We weren't sure whether we'd join - it depended on the price. So we'd thought we just go for a look-see. The guy "interviewed" us then brought us around the gym. And gawd, I've never seen so many treadmills in my life. When I thought that's it, there were more at back!! Really, it's like a torture house. How could people actually enjoy running on those things???

The place was packed too! So many people around doing their workouts - I was amazed. I didn't know Singaporeans were so into keeping fit. Nat and I saw a couple of cute trainers around too, heh. BUT enough 'bt that, when the guy asked abt signing up, we were reluctant. You see, we're broke.

I thought I could squeeze out the funds from my dad, but that didn't happen. Nat's money couldn't grow anymore in the bank either, so sad to say, no club membership for us.

No worries, I'll try working out in my condo' gym. Gawd, the word "workout" is already tiring me out. Ugh...

Bumped into Shupz and Jarrod at the gym too! Someone called my name, and I looked up to see Jarrod keying in his pin number at the front desk. I went to say hi and gave him a hug, then saw Shupz outside smoking and I excitedly went to hug her! Yes, I was excited!! Why? 'Coz I haven't seen these two in donkey months!! Mann..I miss everyone.

We shall reunite soon.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll be trying to get some things done. For one, the list of things that I was supposed to do the other day. And the other, starting on my try-to-tone-up-and-not-slack-around workout. Yes messiuer-dames, I will be going to da gym. Ha! *que trumpets play in the background*

I shall give a brief report on my progress tomorrow night. Till then..

Today's F1 race was AMAZING... Michael Schumacher didn't come in!! Muahahahaha... FINALLY! Michael didn't come in!! Gawd, I was gettin sick and tired of him coming in 1st, seriously. And when he crashed, I laughed my guts out. Damn, today's race was really superb. There were engines blowing up, smoke everywhere, overturned cars, and Schumacher's Ferrari going into the pit lane w/o a tyre. All those million dollar vehicles - smashed to bits. It's one expensive sport I tell you. I've never seen the Safety Car come out of the pits so many times!! I will remember Monte Carlo for this.

I woke up close to 5pm yesterday. Yes, yes I am a pig. But let me tell you something, I slept at 6am that morning, so 11 hours isn't such a big deal!! ... ... ... Ok, fine.

So no, I did not do any of the things that I wrote down on the list at 5:05am. But I will...soon.

Working tomorrow la.. You think I'm so free issit? Yea, kinda, but tomorrow I'll be busy. So, till another day.

I met up with Sara dearest just now. Wah, I haven't seen her in ages mann.. Nor have I with the rest of the gang. We met in town then left for Zouk at 9ish. Had free tickets to the Laselle thing. Saw abit of the show but we had to leave at 11pm 'coz Sara was going to meet Sid for a movie at Cine, so we left. Oh, Shawn was there too. Erm, TALL Shawn.

The fashion show was alright. But I didn't like most of the designs.

All that actually made me recall a time back in Secondary school, when they held this one-time thing called "Fashion Parade". It was during one of those National Day Celebrations that the school annually orgainises. We got one of our classmates to ask his brother to let us wear his designs for our showcase. (Yh, it's Noel's bro.) And we did.

We had to prep of course, so a few days before the actual day, he brought some of his selected designs for us to try out. It was all cheetah-furred themed. I was supposed to wear this really nice gown-ish black number that had a really long trail, and a cheetah-furred vest. But I didn't want to wear it 'coz it was really long, and I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it, so he passed that to another girl - Jessy. Instead, I wore this simple black long skirt, and a cheetah-furred short-sleeved jacket. I had to provide my own black top.

The prepping was to see if we could fit into his originals, if not he had to make copies. All the cheetah-furred stuff could fit everyone, so we all wore the originals. But out of all the girls, I was the only one who could fit everything. 'Coz I was really skinny at that time. Plus, being tall did have it's advantages. So 'coz I passed on the gown, he had to remake a copy with Jessy's measurements. But he didn't have to make a copy for my skirt. So I wore the original. Good thing I didn't wear the gown, 'coz apparently, the skirt alone cost a thousand plus, while the gown would've cost more. So yea, I was quite stressed on trying hard not to ruin the skirt.

So D-day came, and we strutted our stuff on stage for the whole school to see. It was embarassing I tell you. All the upper sec students were in the front. I didn't wear contacts then, and I couldn't wear my glasses, so I went up half-blind and so self-concious, that I didn't even look at anyone in the audience. It was nerve-wrecking I tell you. I walked to stage left, then right, then walked to the back - all fairly quickly. Then Jessy went up. She was all smiley, walking stage left, then realising she didn't flip her trail(skirt), as planned to the left, it was blocking her way from walking to the right. So she panicked, and just hopped over her trail and continued on her walk. The whole school saw it and were snickering in the midst of her debut. Everyone else backstage was doing the same. Poor Jessy walked back all red in the face. Poor girl, but she got over it quite fast. Good thing I didn't wear the gown mann...

That was a modelling debut. It was nerve-wrecking, but fun. Now to do that as a profession would be cool. I mean, you get wear nice clothes, and get paid for it?? C'mon, where's the downside to that??? Oh wait..the being in front of lots of people bit. I guess I have to face it sometimes. *bites lip* We'll see...

1 Clear unwanted shampoo bottles in the bathroom
2 Clear room
3 Vacuum room
4 Wipe piano
5 Vacuum carpet

When I finshed, I was content on the things I was going to do after breakfast. That, until I realised the post-it pad was upside down. ... ... ...

I've got an opportunity to go to summer school..

It's like this.. I failed one module my first semester of poly. Meaning, like, if I failed PP1, I redo that the following semester. Which means, I won't be able to do PP2 the next semester till I pass PP1. Get it? So as for me, I failed my BE - Basic Electronics. It's seriously a fucked up subject I tell you. So anyway, its "upgrading" module is DE (done that), then DCNS - which I just did. So my next "upgrading" module is IPD. Don't ask me what it is, 'coz I really don't know. But I have to take it anyway.

Anyway, I just looked at its lesson plan, and it's insane. Ya see, summer school, is what students can go to, to kinda "catch up" with the rest of the course. The catch is, that, instead of completing the module in 4 months, like everyone does during the normal school semester... It's cut short to 3 weeks! I know, it's CRAZY TALK right?? I mean, yea, it's good, 'coz you get to catch up with the rest, and in a short period of time. But no, hear this. From what I've heard from previous module goers, it's a tough mod to do. A total of 4 projects and no exam. But it's hardcore. The previous module goers get 4 months, whereas the summer schoolers, get 3 weeks. So the lesson plan says, every 5 days, there's a project submission. EVERY 5 DAYS!!!! THAT'S JUST CRAZY TALK! I canNOT do a project, let alone, a well-done project every 5 days!! It's just CRAZY!!

I'm not doing this. I'm not going for summer school. I'll just do the damn module next semester. I can wait.

I bought this lip balm that smells incredible. Strawberry rocks!

Instant Mee Goreng rocks too! I tell you, it's a little piece of heaven.

Ahh.. The simplicity of life.

Y'know, when we were closing for the day (I worked today), the manager from the wine shop nearby, called me over. I went over and he told me that he'd open alot of bottles just now, and most will spoil by tomorrow if no one drinks them or if it isn't refrigerated. His fridge was full, so he gave me 4 opened bottles to take home. Wahh... One costs more than 60 bucks mind you. All were still neck-high. Free wine dude and dudettes, and it was no 'Lindermans'. Then to think of bringing it home, was another matter...

Damn troublesome mann.. He put them lined up in a narrow plastic carrier, but I mean, hello... In the bus with 4 opened bottles of wine, it's stressful to think that if I break one or all of 'em, all my efforts would've been put to waste. But I got home alright, with all 4 bottles intact. My mom got all excited when she saw what I brought home. Like a little kid wanting her lolly. It's embarassing to know we share the same gene pool.

The manager guy wanted me to take home more, 'coz really, there were so many more. They had so many opened bottles in the first place 'coz the owner came by to wine-taste the new stock and they opened like 2 crates = 24 bottles, from what I saw. There could've been more for all I know. But really, it's crazy to have so many opened bottles of wine lying around. I actually wanted to call some of ya'll down to take the rest (y'know, to do him the favour of clearing them) for you guys to drink before clubbing or what not. But I didn't know the where ya'll were, so I didn't bother.

So all 4 bottles are in my refrigerator chilling now. Mom and Dad would probably start on those tomorrow or something. I'll probably take a sip or two. 'Coz of the recent over-dosage of wine, I shan't be drinking alot of that anytime soon. Don't get my wrong, I wouldn't mind, but I really don't like wine that much. Drink for the sake of getting high, that's all...

Everyone's so busy these few days. I don't know where everyone's disappeared to. The girls are always busy. The guys are always dunno-where. And me? I'm just slacking my holidays away. Working on and off. And not starting on my new job. Lazy la...

When I'm busy, everyone's free. When I'm free, everyone's busy. Argh.. I need to get a hobby. Are collecting stamps really that fascinating??? Or stickers!! Oh gawd, seriously, I need to be doing something...

NATALIE WAS CROWNED PROM QUEEN!!!

At her prom on Thursday, Miss Nat Tan got pronounced Prom Queen of ICT (her course). Wahhh, impressed...

I'll start from the beginning...

I had work yesterday. I woke up late (as usual, sigh), but I was only 15 mins late getting there. So then, time went on, and we FINALLY closed shop, when my collegue asked me to accompany her for some drinks - in celebration of her birthday. She wouldn't be in Singapore (going back to KL next week) for her birthday, so it was kinda like a pre-birthday celebration. So I agreed - I had nothing plan that night anywayz.

So we went to a nearby wine shop and we drank - and I mean drank. I DID NOT know wine could get you high like that. But after 6 or 7 (maybe 8?) bottles, I guess the alcohol got to us. I was the youngest of the lot. My collegue is 32, her friend's 28/29, the manager 28/29, and HIS gf in her late twenties. But we all got along. Maybe 'coz of the alcohol - who knows?? We ordered food - chicken wings, calamari, and tofu fishcake. I ate the most (as usual) and I think I drank the most too. Or maybe 2nd most. I usually don't like drinking wine, but the manager kept on filling my glass, so I only felt polite to finish it. I did refuse a "top-up" earlier in the night, but my collegue insisted. It wasss her birthday celebration, so yea, on her behalf. We started drinking before 9pm, and I planned to leave at 11pm. But I didn't expect to leave at 2am plus. Yes messieur-dames, we drank non-stop till the weee hours of the morning. I was even supposed to meet the girls, but I couldn't leave.

By 1am, we were about to retire when my collegue insisted on opening one last bottle. I tell you, her money sure grows on trees mann. She paid for all the bottles 'cept for 2 that were on the house. HA! I didn't spend a cent! Not trying to sound cheap, but I really didn't spend on anything besides my cab fare home. And I tell you, after we left the wine shop, my collegue, her friend, and I, went to 'Rouge'. It's a new "club" at Emerald Hill. Why I say "club" 'coz it was boring. It was so scarce. Then again, it was a Thursday night / Friday morning.

There, I got treated 2 tequilla shots. Tequilla really sucks everywhere nowadays. Really...it's totally awful. Eeeyuck!! But I downed it anyway. The lemon tasted so sweet with the icky teq taste in my mouth. Then we danced - on the almost empty dancefloor. My collegue loves "Hey Ya" by Outkast, so we went to request for that. And that was the last song of the night. We were only there for 30 mins before they had to close for the night.

My collegue didn't want the night to end, so she decides that she wants to go eat at Newton. She hada drag her reluctant friend into the cab with us, and we all went on a jolly ride to Newton. We ate stingray (yay!! ssstttiinnngggraaayy!!), prawn noodle, and sambal kangkong. I ate a little bit of everything before my lips couldn't take the spiciness from the dishes. I was chewing on ice most of the time. All that stingray - wasted.

So anyway, we FINALLY retired for the night/morning. It was like, late in the 3ishes, and I was beat. Very high, and very beat. I couldn't keep awake in the cab and I couldn't walk straight to my door step. I was so damn high, that I needed to lay on my bed for awhile before taking a bath. I was too damn high. And y'know how I've mentioned before that I hate sleeping when I'm high. 'Coz when you wake up, you're weak and shit? Well, that's exactly what happened. I woke up, at about 7 plus, felt woozy, but manged to shower and get back to bed. At 11am, I woke up and asked my lil sis to get me a full mug of water. She did (God bless her soul), and suprisingly, I didn't gulp the whole lot down. I drank like, one fifth of it only. Which was weird, 'coz I was so dehydrated. Didn't matter, I went back to sleep and woke up at 5.

I slacked the night away, when Maddie calls me up and askes if I was going to meet them after work. Huh? Work? Silly girl needs to get her memory re-wired. She mixed up our conversation yesterday for a non-existing conversation today. My memory's acting up on me now tho. I can't remember, but I think it's my dad who asked me if I watched 'The O.C' last night, and that's when I realised I totally forgot about 'The O.C'!! I totally forgot about 'Buffy...' and 'Angel' on Ch18 too! Mann... But thank God, my bro taped it on his comp, and I can watch it anytime on our network. 'Cept for 'Buffy...' and 'Angel'. His comp is only tapped on our local channels, so I guess I could catch the re-run on Sunday. Now it's the matter of me remembering to watch the telly on Sunday...

There's a baby lizard running around the living room now. The lil bugger fell from the ceiling onto the vcd player with a "plop". I thought it was the aircon leaking, but no, it was a black lizard. I didn't care about it at first, then it jumped onto the tv and crawled to the top and the side of it, it then flew down from the vcr player which was like, 3 feet off the ground. I ignored it, thinking it'll just run behind the sofa, but no, the daring bugger crawled onto the coffee table and near my hp! I panicked and tried to "shoo" the thing away. It kept coming nearer to my phone - like it was daring me to take it away. Finally I picked up my mug, and bumped the coffee table. It ran to the other end of the table, and I kept my phone near me - on the couch. I hate lizards and things that crawl in the night *shudder*.

I need to go bathe now. And sleep! Hopefully I'll be doing something tomorrow. Btw, I'll be doing my hair soon. THANK GOD!! I so need the change. Bye bye long hair..

OMG! I totally forgot about this!! BIG NEWS!!!

MY HAMSTERS CAN SWIM!!!

Nat was telling me how hamsters could swim, so I decided to see if mine could. Haha...cruel...I know...

So I filled one of those washing tubs 3/4 full and got Fatty to swim first. He wasn't quite sure what to do when I put him near the water (he was on the palm of my hands) . So I decided to lower my hands INTO the water. AND HE SWAM!!! How freakin cool is that?? He swam like how dogs swim. Sigh, so adorable. Then I picked him up - thinking he may be tired, but no, he wanted to get back into the water. He jumped off the palm of my hands and landed in the water belly-side up. Poor bugger must've swallowed some water, 'coz he looked so shaken up when I rescued him. He didn't want to get back in the water again. I got a towel to dry him off, and let Speedy get a go at it. He swam a few rounds before he decided he didn't want to anymore. I scooped him up with my hands - thinking he was tired, and he didn't want to go back in again. So yea, I didn't force him. I dried the two off with the towel. And put them into some clean bath sand - back in the cage. The two spent like, a whole half hour cleaning themselves in there.

The two furballs left the tub of water with fur strands floating on its surface and a few "floaters". Yes, SHIT. Must've been all Fatty's. The diving wrongly must've scared the shit outa him. Again, no pun intended.

I'll definitely let them go swimming again. It's freakin fun for them, and me! It was such a laugh I tell you. Next time I have my bro's camera with me, I'll record the whole experience and post it up. Then you'll know what I mean. I already have 2 clips of Speedy running about on the sofa. It's bloody adorable I tell you. When I discover a way to easily post up clips here, then I'll let you guys see what I mean.

Nat came over and I helped her prep for her prom tomorrow.

She came at 11am plus. Early mann.. She had to call my home phone till I woke up. I didn't hear it till the last ring. Sorry Nat...sleeping does that to ya sometimes... Y'know, not being able to pick up the phone??

So anyway, she's going to be wearing this really cute white dress (ZARA). We thought we'd go with pastel at first, then changed our minds to retro. She has the earrings (B&W) to match. But then we tried a few other eye shadow colours, and went with goth. Totally cool mann.. Shimmer-grey eyeshadow with black-lined eyes, bronzed-orange rouge, and Mac Viva Glam Lipglass. Along with my black "rock-star" star dangling earrings and a black/purple goth-like choker and a dark-reddish crystal and chain bracelet. Just don't screw up the eye makeup Nat... Take your time... Give yourself like, 3 hours prior to leaving the house Ok?

So anyway, after the prepping, we left for Holland V. Changing our minds at the last minute, we decided to catch a movie in town instead. It's the funniest thing. When we dropped off at HMV's bus stop, I kena-ed water on my arm. It came outa nowhere. So then we were saying how lucky I was, that it wasn't bird shit instead. Then we had this lil discussion about bird-shit situations, when suddenly, a bird flew right above our heads. We're like, Oook... Bird-shit topic dropped. No pun intended.

We caught 'Win A Date With Tad Hamiliton'. It was a good show. Typical ending, but the script was well done. Funny shit - here and there.

After the movie, we went to eat. We first decided, prior to the movie, to go Lips Cafe, but then we widen our horizons and decided to go BK instead. Then decided to go Long Johns instead. The place was packed, so we walked back to BK, before deciding to walk around and eat later. We walked outside of Cine, then dicussed abit more, and then turned back to Cine and made our way to Lips. Facinating huh...

We shared a plate of pasta Alfredo w/ bacon and mushroons, and fish & chips - which was supposedly one of "Lip's favourites". It's definetly not mine. It's not great, really. Don't even try it.

So after the whole fiasco, we went back to my house 'coz dearest Nat forgot her eye liner which is crucial to tomorrow's prom prep. She picked it up and left. And I began watching the telly till now.

I love 'Buffy ...' (too long to type out). It's getting a little out of story, but then again, vamps and slayers, are kinda already out there. Now the whole story is about all the bad guys coming back - like a loop, from season 1. Now's season 7 btw, so there's a lot of baddies to bring back. And I've noticed through the seasons, that they keep making the bad guys uglier and uglier. I guess they're running outa ideas. Last season, was abit off. I mean, c'mon, 'Buffy the Musical'???

I needa stop right here right now. This entry's getting too long. Sorry folks!

I was crying in the cab on my way to work.

I didn't get in.

Some of you may know what I'm talking about, but yea, I didn't get in.

I wasn't even sure if I should've gone to work after checking my email, but I did anyway. The cab driver must've thought I was nuts or something. Either that, or seriously disturbed.

So I didn't meet their requirements. What are their requirements anyway? The definition is so vague. But doesn't matter now. I'm not what they're looking for.

I'm not upset 'coz I didn't get in. I could try other places. But it's the fact that everybody thought I could really make it, and the expectation was there. I was disappointed 'coz I believed in myself as well. I shouldn't have had high hopes. I hate it when I do, and it all comes crashing down when it doesn't go as expected.

I'd put a straight face at work. My collegue didn't suspect a thing. She even asked me how I'm progressing. I told her, I wasn't sure yet.

I felt so diminished. Like I wasn't good enough. I wasn't. That's why I didn't get accepted right?? I feel stupid for even trying. Why did I listen to everyone when I knew myself that I couldn't make it. I did have that lil' hope, but it amplified when everyone supported me. I'm not saying I'm not thankful for their support. But it's all a waste now. I failed. I feel as though I'm a let down. I am.

I blasted my discman while in the cab, to try to get my mind off things. It helped a little. I could've just poured out my tears, but no, it was normal crying. More like tearing - okay, between tearing and crying. I wasn't whimpering. Just sniffed and teared. The Ataris helped. Track 4 was comforting.

So to persue this new career is now doubtful. I know, I know. I shouldn't give up 'coz of one bad incident. But it's just so hard not to. I'm scared now. I'm afraid of rejection AGAIN!

I need another plan. This plan I had going was totally wrong, and I knew it wouldn't work, but I'd thought - hey! Just give it a go. They need to meet ME, and not my email. Seriously... I need to be more hands-on if I want this to work.

Note to people who DO know what's going on: Please do not state anything on my tagboard about this. I'd rather just keep this amongst close friends first.

Jess: Could you not tell your bro about how I feel about this? He knows the news, but I just don't want him to know that I'm this upset. Okay?

I need to cry this out. If anyone asks about this, I'd just breakdown. If I cry it all out now, there'd be a lesser chance of me crying later on.

So excuse me...

So...I've just sent THE email.

It's strange how much work I'd put into this. Taking the pictures, cropping it (the picture and light switch were on the wall behind me), picking the best 3 of the lot, writing the email and sending the damn thing. I was so nervous I tell you, and all I had to do was to click the "send" button. I didn't realise this till just now, that I've got alot of pressure to succeed in this. My parents, my cousins, my friends...even my boss!! I don't know how to face the world if I don't get it.

I'm starving myself right now. All I had to eat today was:

1 bak kua sandwich
1 butter crossoint
1 packet of 'Tasty' biscuits
4 Lakerols
1 raisin bun
1 bowl of prawn noodle soup

That's it folks! That's all I had the whole day. Oh, and 2 bottles of Ice Peach Tea at the beach. But that was a must!! The sun was scorching, and I needed those to cool me down. So yea...

So yes, I'm starving now. But I have to fight my temptation to eat. What am I going to do about tomorrow??? I've got no plans and if I stay home, I'd eat. Die ah die ah... RESIST!!

Oh yea, forgot. There was a flea market at Zouk today. My brother's gf was selling some of her stuff. Passed her some face products I don't use, to sell too. I don't know if she got to sell her stuff in the end, but from what I heard from my bro, the whole thing was quite a success. The whole place was air-coned 'coz it's IN the club itself, so the heat didn't "sauna" the people. And I heard that the place was nicely done up and everything was quite orderly and stuff. Damn, I wanted to go down actually but I went to the beach instead ya? So, maybe next year or something. But..err...that's what I said...last year..

Went to tan at Sentosa today. Alone.

Everyone's so busy these days I tell you. Now that I don't have school OR work, I've got so much free time!! So anyway, I went to Sentosa. The result - burnt. Okay, so maybe not THAT burnt. But I'm pink - to say the least.

I saw a middle-aged man in a thong!!! Blue, might I add. Oh gawd, seriously... It was unsightly.

So this OTHER mid-30s guy talked to me today.

Guy: Isn't it painful?
Me: *wiping my face* What is?
G: The sun!
Me: Not really..

He was sitting under the shade, near where I put my bag. So that's where he talked to me. Then when I went to get a drink from my bag, he asked me if I was Eurasian. I told him I was Chinese. At that point I didn't want to mention I was Paranakan 'coz I've recently learnt that Paranakan doesn't mean you're Chinese with Malay blood, but Chinese with Malay influences. Basically, my ancestors, lived with Malay culture though they're Chinese. So I'm not necessarily "mixed-blood" though I think I maybe. ANYWAY... When I finally did say I was Paranakan, he said that he thought so. (...) He thought that my eyes looked Chinese whilst my nose onwards was more Eurasian (erm...Ook..). So then he said that he owns a modelling agency, so he gave me his card. Aye Jess, his name is exactly like your dad's. Ha, isn't that weird... So then I told him about me and this coming week and Mannequin. He was telling me how it's more runways and stuff, but he didn't know that that's what I wanted to do, rather than print and stuff. So he told me HIS agency was more about lifestyle print. Like, Sentosa, etc. But I told him I'm just going to persue Mannequin, and he told me to call/email him whenever I want to change (mm..right.).

Other than that, tanning alone was quite enjoyable. I just laid in the sun - sweating, but nonetheless, tanning. It was hot hot HOT today. The weather was really crazy. So anyway, I got the tan I wanted, but now I'm worried that it'll peel 'coz my skin's pinkish. Across my cheeks and nose, and on my chest area. My back hurts when I scratch it. I just hope my interview is soon, so I won't go there peeling and flaking all over their table and chair. Eew...what a first impression.

To all mums: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

"Celebrated" yesterday already, so today was "me" time. Skipped Church 'coz the sun was too appealing to go to waste. I've been waiting for this sun for along time... So finally, I'm tan, and confident for the upcoming interview. Sigh, hope I'd be able to make it through. But first, I have to submit my photos and my stats. That reminds me, they're expecting my email soon. So I'm going to do that now. Till tomorrow, ciao!

Ate at this Italian place today. Kinda like a Mothers' Day thing. Yea I know it's a day early, but my mom insisted.

So this place, it's really IKEA furnished mann... The plates, the wine glass holders, the table, chairs, even the little milk jug for the coffee. Food's good though. Then I went to see my Aunt's new place then to 'The Cheesecake Cafe'. All this at Siglap, 'cept the Italian place. 'The Cheesecake Cafe' is like a sanctuary I tell you. Waaahh... So nice... The whole ambience is relaxing - kinda like a spa setting. And the cheesecakes are delish. I'll definitely go there again. Oh yea, and they had the same exact little milk jug thing-a-majig. 'Cept they filled it with syrup instead of milk. It was to accompany my ice mango tea. That, wasn't that fantastic though. But the cheesecakes...*drool*..

Went to my Uncle's house after. Love going there... Love the whole place from top to bottom, and the dogs - Spot and Tong Tong. There's just so many memories growing up. Anyway, my Uncle's neighbour came over to ask for my Uncle's help in getting rid of a "nest" problem. Was it a hornet's or bee's Jess? I don't know - basically, it wasn't wanted So my Uncle went to tie "galas" together and attached a kerosene-soaked cloth to on an end of it and lit it. He burnt the nest and the flies that flew out, got their wings burnt and fell to the ground. Heh, stupid insects. Anyway, after that, my Uncle burnt ANOTHER insect's nest at the side of HIS house. This nest wasn't like the neighbour's one. That, was the size and shape of an orange, whilst the one at the side of my Uncle's was like a straw - long and thin. He lit it and the insects that got away tried to attack the fire. They flew right into the flame - stupid insects. Seriously... Fire = hot = burnt to crisp. Insects aren't as smart as I thought, really...

That was the highlight of my day mann.. I mean, who else could've said they witnessed their Uncle take on bees/hornets/flies nests with just 2 galas and fire??

Exams are FINALLY over!!!!!!!!!! *big grin*

Still lacking of sleep which I plan to catch up with through the weeks and weeks of VACATION. Finally!! It's here!! My rest and relax period. We should have more of this and less of .... what-do-they-call-it?? Ahhh, yes, school.

I FOUND MY MANGO DRESS!!! Yes!! The Mango dress that had supposedly disappeared from the racks of Shaw House Mango, reappeared in Suntec - so to speak. Nat and I met after my... 'final paper' (doesn't that just roll off your tongue??) and we went to Suntec to shop. Alternative to town 'coz let's face it - it's a bore there. So at Mango, I prayed hard that they had the dress, but I didn't see any on the racks. So I asked one of the sales assistants, but she didn't do much help, instead, ANOTHER sales assist. helped me. I tried to describe the dress I was looking for, but finally resulted to pointing it out in the previous season's catalogue. Yea, that took us a while to figure. So then she went in, for a quite awhile, and you should've seen my face when she came out with it. Utter excitement.

So we went to try some of the stuff on, including my beloved dress. But somehow, it didn't look as good as before. Then we figured it was the cloth design. Y'know how very patternish cloths have random patterns here and there, well, the parts of the cloth used to make the dress weren't in a complimenting manner, so we asked for another dress. Thankfully, they had 2 more! Waahhh... Lady luck's on my side today mann... So I tried dress #2. That one was even worse! But *ding ding ding*!!! We had a winner!! #3 was...almost perfect. I mean, it couldn't compare to the one I tried at Shaw, but hey, beggers can't be chooses aye? So then, *dum dum dum*, there was something wrong with it. It was missing a string of cloth through the waistline. Someone had removed it. So the sales assist took one from the other dress and tried to string it in. That took like, 45 mins?? Yea, that long. But doesn't matter. I have the dress now. It's mine... And I'm satisfied.

Met Maddie in town after Suntec. Walked around then settled down at Baker's Inn at Paragon for cakes and (pfft..) water. MY cake was..yucky. The chocolate parts were good, but the rest of it, was bleah. I forgot to try Nat's Tiramisu. Oh well.. So then, lo and behold, Maddie shouts out, "Paul!!". I was too engrossed in my cake, till seconds and a bite later, before realising it was El PaulO. He was with a friend, and they sat at another table. It wasn't long till Maddie had to leave for work. So I was left to decide whether or not to stay in town with El PaulO and wait for the rest of the gang, or just go home. We both decided on home, so I left.

My parents were out with my lil' sis, for dinner with an Uncle. And when they came back. The first thing she said to me was, "Hi Jie.. We went to Pontini (pauses for my reaction)..". Why did she have to tell me that?? She KNOWS it's one of my fav restaurants and she just had to rub it in my face. I can't believe my dad didn't tell me they were going there. See what I mean by unfairness in the family?? My bro came home not long after I did, and both of us didn't take dinners outside tho dad smsed the both of us to get dinner on our own. I wasn't that hungry to get buy food back, but that's not the point! The point is, it was my uncle's birthday (I wasn't aware of that till they got back), and they went to one of my fav restaurants. What's this mann??

It's like I don't matter in the family anymore. So why bother trying so hard for this family?? Really...I don't see the need anymore. It's not about the dinner. It's about the whole not-telling-me part. Even just now, my mom was booking reservations for lunch tomorrow. When I asked my dad what's it about, he just says, "It's just lunch". I asked him to elaborate, "For what??" And then he gets annoyed at me, "Mothers' day laaa..". Then I asked him who's going and why tomorrow since Mothers' day is on Sunday, and why no one told me about it?? He just dismissed my question with a grunt. It's not even 'coz he's in a bad mood y'know. Not even that he's so engrossed with the tv. There was nothing for him to grunt about. I just hate it when people are like, "Okay! Get ready, we're leaving soon!" And I'm totally clueless. Hello?? Go where? For what?? And How come no one told me about this?? It's like I'm invisible.

Sometimes I really think I'm adopted. I don't look like my parents at all. Either that, or I'm really well-mixed between them. So well-mixed that it's unrecognisabe. Friends of my dad and mom's don't know where to put me. "You look like your...err...dad?? Nono, more like your mom! Nono..maybe not.. errr..." .. .. .. ..

Maybe the story about finding the baby in the dumpster, our parents have always told us when we were younger, is really true with me. I was the original "dumpster-child". I really don't know how I belong in this family sometimes. And that's just sad...

Okok, I shouldn't over analyze this. I have food, clothes, a roof over my head, hi-fi and aircon. What more could I ask for?

The "slow" music on Power 98 doesn't help the studying process. Seriously...where's the punk when you need it?? Thank goodness for the machine called the "LAPTOP". Music on the go.

MXPX is so good to the ears. Real study music...no..seriously!

So, I haven't done any studying. Nothing at all. So I'm planning to sleep then get up at 7am and do hardcore studying then. Hopefully Syaz can wake me up and hopefully *crosses fingers* I won't oversleep and miss my whole exam. That'll be totally screwed up. So I'm going to stop blogging now, and go sleep. Ciao!

Ps, if anyone's up at around 6:50am to 7:10am, please give me a wake up call. ... ... ... Just in case... Thanks!

Okay...so I've just calculated... With just my common test and lab test scores, I've already got a a little over 25% for my overall module marks. And that's against 35%. The other 15% is from my quiz marks and lab marks - which both I don't know. So all I've got to do is pass the exam tomorrow (50%) and I'll be safe. No need to redo THIS course. But, that is, IF I pass. And judging from the time right now - 3:06am - I'm screwed. I haven't touched this module at all. So, wish me luck again. And pray.

So today was a total waste of time.

Went to school - did the exam - gonna fail. Went to library - tried to study - but didn't. Went to town - tried to shop - but also didn't. So basically... Today might as well have never come at all.

Exam: gonna fail. Why? 'Coz I screwed up. Why? 'Coz my mind went a blank when I got to the questions. Gone! Kaput! Nada!

Study: tried but couldn't. Was in the library for two hours before I decided to go to town and try to shop instead.

Shop: ALSO couldn't. 'Coz I don't have the money to buy the things I want. I went to Mango to FINALLY buy my dress and it's gone. Sold out! And when I went to Zara to look for the OTHER dress I wanted. It's still waaay over budget. I can't spend $70 on a day-dress. It's just not practical. PLUS! I saw some mid-teen wearing it in town. It looked nice on her too though. I mean, of course I'm not going to not buy the dress 'coz SHE's wearing it. I'm not buying the dress 'coz it's too damn 'cha-ching' for my wallet. I looked nice in it tho. But I would've preferred the Mango one.

ARGH!! Things are just not going my way these few days. First the exams, now the dresses. I hate these fucked up days.

Things I need to do RIGHT after the exams:

1) Shop for new outfits + shoes
2) Get a facial - prep for job
3) Get a tan
4) Make appt FOR the job
5) Prep nails

I woked up damn pissed today. My li' sister doesn't have any common decency for other people. Y'know how when you walk into a room where someone's sleeping, you try to keep as quiet or BE as quiet as you could possibly be? Well, my sister isn't like that. She's a self-absorbed, selfish brat, who happens to share the same gene pool as me. She constantly talks about herself and thinks about noone else BUT herself everyday. And it's getting worse by the day.

What made me snap today, was the sound of a loud 'SLAM!' of the cupboard. I shouted at her, "ALLI!!! Get OUT OF THE ROOM NOW!!!", but she totally ignored me. I couldn't be bothered to get up so I just tried to get back to sleep. I had only slept at 6am this morning (after my late-night study session), and I HAD to wake up at 11am. It was 10am then.

So, probably to irritate me more, my sister puts on her uniform and what-nots for school. I mean, how much noise CAN YOU POSSIBLY MAKE PUTTING ON CLOTHES???!!! Apparently, ALOT!! It sounded like she was crumpling all her clothes over and over, AND over AND over again. GAWD!! I snapped again. Here I am, trying to get the most of the sleep I CAN get till my paper at 2pm and here, the lil' princess is taking her own sweet time doing gawd-knows what, and making a helluva noise doing it. I just wanted to slap her!! But no, I'm not going to hit an 11-yr old. So the only thing I COULD DO was to get up and force her out of the room. I told her to take EVERYTHING she needed there and then, and I shoved her out of the room, locked the door, and took the spare key. No no, don't feel sorry for her. If she's YOUR sister, you'd totally understand my situation. She's been doing this, everyday of the week. I've gotten migrains 'coz of this girl. Imagine, getting up EVERY SINGLE DAY by loud noises, be it her annoying high-pitched voice, or by the sounds she makes outside OR inside of the room. Imagine, getting a migraine practically everyday!! Seriously, I don't know what to do with her sometimes. EVERYTIME I lock the door, it gets worse!! She'd used the spare key (parents' keep a spare key outside), and make even MORE noise, fiddling with the keys, fitting in the wrong keys, FINALLY getting the RIGHT key in, and then rattle the doorknob to get it open. And that's just the beginning. I shan't elaborate. Blogger.com would probably ban me for too long an entry.

I really don't know what to do. I'm up to my neck with her bullshit. She smart-mouths me, puts me down in front of my parents (and in the eyes of my parents - she's an angel), eats my snacks, complains about every lil thing that I do, to my parents - like, "dad...she locked me out of the room again!!", or like, "dad, jie ate the last bun!!". What am I? Chopped liver?? My mom treats her, like I've mentioned before, like a lil' princess. Buying her stuff, food, and "treats" so to speak. She doesn't do that for me OR my brother. Nothing like spoiling the youngest huh...

Anyway, after she'd left the room, I was too worked up to even go back to sleep. So yea, I only got 4 hours of sleep, when I could've gotten an extra hour without the whole episode with her. Now, I can't sleep neither. Insomia again. That's why I hate it when I get woken up be'coz of STUPID things like this! 'Coz it's already so hard to even get to sleep! Sigh, I guess I'll just try to do some studying, or watch a dvd or something. ... Later.

I was supposed to meet the INC guys at Starbucks - Holland today at 2pm, but woke up with a splitting headache so I didn't go. Instead, Rashid and Dean came over to my place at 10:30ish and I started studying then. They left at around 4 plus and I continued all the way till now. I did manage to cover what we're supposed to know, but alot of the questions from the past year papers were as foreign to us as "Fez" is to 'That 70s Show'. Don't know why the lecturer didn't ask us to cover that. ANYhoo, doesn't matter. I put my effort in, so we'll just hafta see how things go tomorrow.

Ya know, my mom's really strange sometimes. Like, when I told her that two of my coursemates were coming over to study, she straight away assumed that they were girls. Then she assumed that they were Chinese. So when I broke the new to her that they were guys and were Malay, she started tidying the house. She tidied the kitchen, and she cleaned the toilet sink area and the mirror. She even put those toilet bowl cleaners into the bowl. Wtf??? I asked her why, and she said something like, how Malays are very particular about cleanliness and stuff, blah blah blah... Good gawd... Seriously, isn't this abit too much?? Tidying up is fine. But to clean the bathroom??? It's not like it's filthy. It's normal-clean. She's just really too "swah-koo" sometimes.

Btw, I had pork knuckle today. Mmm-mm-good. My mom bought 2 from Cold Storage. It's crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The skin was crispy and delish, but I scraped off the inner fats clinging onto it 'coz seriously, it was gross. All the fat ozzing with fatty goodness, was a lil' too much for me to take. I mean, I'm sure I had my daily fat intake by the 2nd serving. I had 4 altogether. Okay, that's it. This is my new "stingray". Although, I really don't mind going for actual stingray right about now... *drools* Nono, I shall go to sleep and get up early to revise more for tomorrow's paper. Alright... (*thinking of pork knuckle*) NOO!!! Nonononononononono....
