Rouge.

Mann..We didn't even plan tonight. Wala's was motherfuckin crowded that we actually had to queue!! We stood there for about 1/2 an hour and left.

Headed to Rouge for a party we'd heard from word of mouth, and it wasn't all that bad. At first it was, 'coz everything was so disorganised. The queue was gawd-knows where, and we stood outside of the club unsure of what's happening. Tix buying and selling were everywhere, people were everywhere, and the queue was EVERYWHERE. Good gawd..

So finally we get in, and the place is "packed". You could see the dance floor empty, even through the fog. I made a few new aquaintences tho. Daniel, Janesh + friend. Got to know other aquaintences better too. Ken, Jon, Eldon, Samadhi and Sean. I love these guys, fucking awesome people.

Nicole's childhood friend, David, was there too. He was so great to treat me to drinks. We tried the 'Waterfall'. Gawd, DO NOT try that if you have bangs. It's burn it right off - trust me. The taste - eh. Flaming lambos are far better *nudge nudge*

The music was getting good, so David and I started to hit the dancefloor. (Nic, you so should've been there with us.) Mid-way, I felt as if I'd neglected my friends, so I left David to join them. He had to leave soon after, so I spent the whole night with the usual girls, and my new found guy friends. In the end, the night was a blast. People were half drunk and they're more fun that way sometimes. Funnier, gigglier, and more carefree.

I love nights like these..

Mann... I was so happy 'coz this really REALLY cute guy talked to me in Phuture. He's a friend of a friend's and he recognised me, though I don't think I'd ever seen him before, but mann, I'm sure I would've remembered if I had.

Then I was disappointed afterwards, 'coz I saw him with another girl. They were pretty close, so I guess they had something going on. Damnit.

And he was sooo cute..

Shit. But the whole night wasn't a bust. Bumped into a couple of friends, and I'd finally tried a 'graveyard'. Not very nice. But it got me a little high.

Tired as hell now. Planning to skip my 8am class (as usual), but will be in school for my 1pm class. So yea, still need my sleep. Will fill you in with more details tomorrow or something.. Well, I'll try to...

Some say I look like a Chinadoll (ha, the irony), some couldn't recognise me. And this fringe thing is annoying the hell outa me. It keeps parting to the side 'coz it's used to my side-parting. And plus, the weather doesn't help the fact that it's freakin' hot on my forehead. That's it. It's gonna get pinned.

So I offically have a fringe now...

Yes, while I was half drunk last night/this wee morning, I got my hair cut. And no, the hairstylist was NOT as half drunk as I was, thank you very much.

It's weird having a fringe. Firstly, I'm not used to how it's on my forehead. Secondly, it's hot. I keep trying to fan myself 'coz the fringe's quite thick. Thirdly, I still can't quite grasp the fact that I have a fringe now, that I keep trying to pull it back and pin it down. And lastly, I think I'm just not used to how it looks on me. Somehow, I don't think it suits me that much..

We'll see peoples' reactions tomorrow..

I don't know how he got the idea but he thought I wanted to look "cute" (he said, and I quote, "I'll make you look cuter." Eh??), 'coz that idea's as far from my mind, as the Chinese language is to me. I wanted to look, maybe, chic. But I don't know.. It was free anyways, so ya la, let him do whatever.. Hair grows back, so no worries. If I start to hate it totally, I can always been creative and do something with it. Or just pin it up.

I don't know why, but I seem to be so tired on Sundays. So very extreamly tired. Night all.

The right guy is hard enough to find without my mom trying to limit my choices with her standard of guys I should date. The following is a list of guys she doesn't approve of:

1) Indians - the dark kind. North indians are "ang-mo lookalikes" so they're ok.
2) Guys who's surnames are 'Tan'.
3) Guys shorter than me.
4) Guys too boyish looking.
5) Guys too ah-beng looking.
6) Guys poorer than me.
7) Guys younger than me.
8) Guys with tattoos.
9) Caucasian guys, and
10) Cheap guys.

I think that's about it. And I think that about covers every guy on the face of this Earth. Great. I'm going to die alone.

The F1 powerboat event wasn't that exciting. The highlight of the day was getting to eat 'ah peh' ice-cream before leaving the event, and the bus driver's flawless ability to make a sharp turn into the tiniest road you'd ever see.

The F1 powerboats didn't even seem like F1. More like F9. The whole hour that we'd spent there was a total waste of time. It was hot, and the grass was prickly, and I so wanted to go as soon as we came. The boats were not as fast as I'd thought it'd be. Fast, to the point that they had to slow down, 'coz if not, it'll make the boat flip frontwards. I was secretly hoping that that would happen, but nah, it didn't. So yea, the most exciting part of the whole thing, was being seeing the 'ah peh' at the entrance/exit of the event selling his 'ah peh' ice cream. I had the Raspberry Ripple.

Then the bus came to take us back to the carpark at Marina South. On the way, we got to this tiny "bridge" (it was over water, so I assume it's a "bridge"), and I didn't know if he was going to go straight or turn sharply to the left. It seemed impossible to turn left. It didn't look as if the bus could fit, but the driver was amazing I tell you. He pulled it off with such ease, it was unbelievable.. My dad, brother, and I dropped jaws. It was wo.

We went to buy mooncakes after retrieving the car. I love Chinatown. But not in the blistering sunny weather like today was. So yea, we bought the mooncakes and left soon after. I love our mooncakes. Every year, without fail, we'd go back to the same place to get them. It's the best I've ever eaten, and like LANA cakes, indispensible.

So the day wasn't a total flop. I got my "ah peh" ice cream, got to witness a wonder beyond wonder bus turn, got my mooncakes (woo-oooh), and managed to get some sleep at the end of it. Not too shabby.

Janice just left for Seattle at 1pm today. She smsed her last goodbye, and there it was, another friend gone.

Everyone's leaving, and me? I'm still in Singapore, doing gawd-knows what with my life. I need to live it out. I need to get out. I need money.

I slept through all my classes today. I hadn't gotten enough sleep 'coz of clubbing last night. It was Jan's last night out, so yea..

So 8am class came and went. I was awake till the last section of questions. I woke up, copied the answers then left. Was in the library after that. There weren't any seats/tables free at 'Each-a-cup', so I went to the "bar". I fell asleep there, and then woke up to find a table free. I moved my stuff over, only to fall asleep again. Then at 10:30am, my phone buzzed, reminding me of a meeting with a lecturer. Did that, went for lunch, then class. Then slept again.

Mann, so basically, today wasn't very productive. I was asleep most of the time, and I'm still tired.. On top of that, my idiot groupmate is pissing me off again. Such a bitch... The mother-fucker will die...

My other project's killing me. And my groupmate isn't easing the stress at all.

This morning, I was supposed to meet him at 10am, but overslept and woke up at 1030 instead. I read his smses and he said that he was going to go do another project with his other groupmates since I wasn't there, so I figured, ok, then I'll spend some time w/ my mom who just came back from Thailand last night.

Then at 11:50am, he smses me, cursing and swearing! Saying he'd been waiting for 2 hours and that I still wasn't there! So I explained to him why I wasn't there - coz he said he was with his other groupmates doing another project yea? And when I asked what happened to that plan? He avoided the question 3 times. Then he kept calling, probably to yell at me somemore, but I was with my mom ya know, so I ignored his call. Then he smses, swearing somemore and scoldin me for not picking up. I hate it when people use vulgarities on me (swearing in general is ok, but not AT me), so I told him to watch his words, and not to be rude to me. I swear, if he'd been in front of me there and then, I would've really slapped him. It's just rude y'know?? To curse a girl in hokkien esp. Like "cb" and all. It's just uncouth.

So anyway, during class later today, I realised that he didn't get all the info done. So basically, if I had been there earlier today, it would've been a waste of time anyway, 'coz his part of the project wasn't done. All the info was with him, he was supposed to check the values, and he was changing them IN class. My part is basically done, I just need HIS info to fill in the blanks, but nooo... So yea, basically, he's a jackass..

This project and one more to go. Never ever working with him again will be a blessing. Can't wait till then.

I spent a good part of my day watching dvds and playing the Xbox games. The other good part was sleeping. Sleep-oh-sleep.. And also, being able to catch 'The Gilmore Girls' at 6.

I need to get back to reality soon. Back to never-ending projects, classes, and the so-called "life" I'd been living the past few months. Oh..the life..

I'm baaaaaccckkk...!!!

I just got home from JB and I'm dead tired. But I'll jot some thoughts down right now, 'coz my memory can only store that much info for that long...

So JB was a blast. It went to the point that I was in a happy state. And I'm not even talking about happy - !woohoo!-happy. I'm talking about, actual happiness - being able to be relaxed and enjoying life. The pace in Malaysia is just that.

It was breakfast/lunch, and Jan and her mom brought us out to a Chinese 'somewhat' restaurant And that's when I felt it. Bliss. I never thought it'd feel this way. And now I truly understand the meaning of that term. I was truly blissful.

It was just the relaxation and "chillness" that we all radiated.

Btw, I think I know why people pronounce restaurant as 'ress-taw-ren'. They follow the malay word 'restoran'. Those "peoples" must be from Malaysia.

Anyhoo. We got to shopping next. HA! I managed to get some dvds and Xbox games. Mann, I can't wait to test them out. And I'm going to go back to get all the 6 seasons of 'Sex & the City' and 'Buffy..'. Hopefully, I'll manage to smuggle them in again, heh.

I forgot my bubble gum!! I bought a whole packet of those lil' boxes of bubble gum balls. Ya'll remember the 3 small gum balls in those lil' boxes?? Yea, I bought a whole box of Grape ones. And I forgot to pack it in my bag!! Hopefully, someone will help me bring it back to Singapore.. Hopefully..

So the party went well. It first started out kinda quiet, with people in their own cliques. It ended off with everyone squished into one tiny karaoke room, witnessing the guys "singing" and playing a fool.. It was all good fun. I laughed till my cheeks hurt. But I had to leave. Church is later, and my friend agreed to take me home. I figured, I could stay another day, but then I would've broken a promise to God (I have never broken promises in years..). Plus, y'know, him having the power to strike me down at any one point of time sometimes scare me.. So yea, I left and got stuck in the jams for about an hour plus. But it wasn't all that bad, we had split ourselves into 2 cars. And each time we passed each other, the guys never fail to make me laugh-out-loud with their usual antics.

So finally we're past all the passport stamping, and the "checking" area officers start their usual evaluation of the vehicle and us inside of it. We popped the boot, then the officer came around to the side of the car and asked the guy in the backseat to open up my bag (which was beside him). So he did. I knew he's want to check my bag. Only 'coz it's so fuckin big. It's a normal duffle bag size, but for a one-night stay, it's considered "large". But I just hate to squeeze everything into a small bag y'know?? So yea, all I had in my bag were my clothes, toiletries, and a box of 'tao sar pia'. But the officer was so persistant on knowing what was in the plastic bag. I just separated the box of 'tao sar pia' from my clothes to keep it "clean" ya know? But no matter how much I explained to the officer, he didn't believe a word I said. So the guy in the backseat opened the plastic bag to reveal, yea, the 'tao sar pia'. Finally satisfied, the officer let us through. Stupid idiot, did he really think we'd be so stupid to put all the pirated dvds and etc in the duffle bag?? Out in the open like that? Sigh, idiot.

I hid my pirated dvds and Xbox games in the glove compartment. And a few packets of bubble gum in the plastic bag with the 'tao sar pia', but you can only see it if you'd open the bag wider. Hahaha.. -whew-

So I got home safe - no cuffs, no permanent record. But after I turned the key and push down on the handle of my front door, the door couldn't go past an inch before getting caught from the latch. I was locked out.

Then I tried using my card to push the latch open, but no-go. Then I reached in through the gap and flickered the light switch, hoping someone could hear it, or see the light flicker. And miraculously, someone did! My brother came out and let me in. Ha, what luck!

I really love JB. So far, all my visits there have been pleasent. Plus, I feel super rich when I go there. And that's a rare feel for me... As some of you may know, I'm almost all the time broke. So yea..

Ok ok, need to bathe and then hit the sack. -yawn- Night!

I'm leaving for JB in half an hour. And Ryan's leaving for the UK in 7 hours.

Damn.

Everyone's going somewhere. I'm going to JB 'coz tomorrow's Jan's farewell party. She's leaving for Seattle, USA, on Tuesday.

This weekend in JB's gonna be like, a short holiday for me. But the thought of Ryan leaving is getting me a little down. It's weird, 'coz when he was here, we didn't meet up as often as we should've. And now that he's leaving.. We made sure we said our goodbyes. We spent a good 4 hours at Holland V just now, just chilling and talking.. Mann..

I will miss ya Ryan. Come back soon k?

Speaking of that. NICOLE!! When you leaving again?? We must meet up at least one more time before you leave yea?

Sigh..till Sunday night folks!

I just got back from a lousy night of clubbing. It wasn't the company, but it was the lack of familiar faces around, and the distasteful music.

It's like, when a good song finally comes on, the DJ remixes it with other songs and all you hear, is the first verse and chorus of the song. Isn't that stupid?? I mean c'mon, if you knew what the popular songs were with the crowd, you'd try your best to play them right?? But no... This DJ was a fuckin idiot. All he wanted to do was to showcase his "talents". I mean really, if you wanted to see DJs battle it up, you'd go to a gig like that - not a club.

Waste my time only. I had work to do too, but I thought maybe I could enjoy myself a little bit, but nooo..

Oh! Btw.. The trailer was a hit! Everyone loved it, and there were even requests for seconds. The teacher like it too, tho she'd prefer the slogan to change from "Don't Be An Ass.." to "Don't Be A Pest..". But really, the impact isn't there anymore if you change 'ass' to 'pest'. You guys have to see the trailer to understand.. Ha, ya'll have no idea what you're missing..

-Yawn- I'm heading to bed now. Night all..

Thanks Shaun!

It's going to be presented in my DPM class tomorrow. Hopefully, all will go well. I'm actually having problems with its picture quality, but no worries, I'll give it a run-through before our presentation. -crosses fingers-

I just got back from prata hunting with the prata hunters. Today's visit was near my place - Bukit Timah, Al Azthar. The milo sucks. Never EVER drink their ice milo. It's awful...

I've got the pictures with me, but it'll be posted up on the prata hunters webbie, so check it out here in a few days...

I'm so excited about my DPM epromo.

The whole theme's about 'Clean & Green' (yea..how interesting..). And we're supposed to come up with a concept for a "trailer". And some other promo materials like posters, pamphlets and etc..

But the point is, the epromo was shot today, and I think it's gonna turn out great.

Matt and I were both in it, and Shaun was our director. We shot for less than an hour, and tomorrow we're going over to Shaun's to do the editing. Hope everything goes well. -crosses fingers-

Note to Shaun: Please use as little footage of me as possible. Thanks.

Busy busy day today..

First, went to my Church's fund-raising carnival to help my mom and her friends sell Rojak. I was actually quite surprised at the number of people who actually bought it, 'coz it is afterall, a carnival. Who eats Rojak at a carnival?

But yea, the turnout was good, and sales was even better. I helped put together the ingredients, whilst my mom did the mixing. The rest took care of the cutting and etc. It was actually quite fun. But I'll never eat Rojak ever again..

After my "shift", I went over to Shaun's place. Matt and I needed his help with one of our IS modules. It has to do with an e-promo. So who better to help, than someone who does this as a hobby? Mr Director himself - Shaun Koh. So yea, we went over to his place, stayed for an hour then left.

I went to town to meet Sid, whom I haven't seen in about a month (missed her so). We ate dinner at MOS Burger (mmm...), then parted. I went to meet Miss Nicole... Who was an hour late, along with her "long-time-friend" David.

We were inbetween going to catch 'Harold & Kumar', and clubbing. We actually did a coin toss, and fate was pointing to clubbing. Haha, poor David was so counting on that movie tho. *shrugs*

So we managed to cut in the line, with the help of Nicole's friend. Then we went in and partied the night away. It was a long overdued stress-reliever. I was enjoying every bit of it. Not to mention, I bumped into a couple of old friend I hadn't seen in months. NS tends to do that to people sometimes. They take all our guys away.

A shout out to some people:
1) Andy's friend - Adam: I doubt I'll ever forget your name ever again. It's etched into my brain now, thanks to your constant "What's my name?"s.
2) MingHui's 2 friends: Thanks for the 'Dry Whiskey' offer, but I don't take Whiskey - wet OR dry.
3) Nick: Thanks for looking out for me, but don't worry. I'm a big girl, and I can take care of myself. Not to mention, I was amongst friends all the time. But thanks for caring.
4) Melvin: Hope I didn't burst your ear drums when I screamed into your ear. Who asked you to keep taking so much space on the dance floor when you're as as skinny as a stick?? And for squishing me against the wall too. You're such a fucker, but you know I care.
5) David: Thanks for paying for the cover charge and drinks. Thanks also for offering 30 bucks for my cab fare, but who needs that much for cab fare really?? I had to decline 'coz it was too much money and I had enough on myself. But I'm sorry if I lost the 10 bucks whilst trying to give you back the money. So so sorry..
6) Zheng Chang's friend: Thanks for asking for my number, 'coz it just proves I didn't look like too much of a geek with my glasses on whilst clubbing.

I know none of the people mentioned above will read this. But it's just to get out of my chest, y'know?

I'm not quite sure, but I think I'm immune to alcohol. I drank quite abit tonight, but nothing. No high, no buzz. Damnit la. It's so hard to get high these days.

Btw, no more ZARA dress. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this in previous entries, but my ZARA dress is gone. (Nat, it's the black modelish-looking one.) *grumbles*.. So sad... I really love that dress... Really really really..

I need to sleep. I can't afford to fall asleep during Church service tomorrow morning. I'd probably get condemned for life.. Sigh, what's new?

I aced my AR Final re-test. 92.8% baby!!

Other than that, my day just consisted of class and projects, watching tv, and falling asleep on the couch.

I'm just tired from all the last nights / early mornings of project work and online mahjong and scrabble. Yes, I've turned to other online games.

I've missed Mahjong, and have made plans with other INC folk for a game or two soon. Sigh, I miss the carefree project-free semesters and just chilling with the guys.

Ahh...the good ol' days..

I was up doing projects and playing online scrabble. Yea, my multi-tasking is really improving.

I didn't sleep till 6am, thinking I'll just skip my morning lecture at 8am. But by the time I woke up, it was 10 mins to 1pm, and my class was about to start. By the time I got to school (by cab btw), I was 1/2 an hour late. Lucky thing I ran into a classmate of mine, and he told me of the change of classrooms.

I've got one of my mods changed this term. So basically, all the changes the previous lecturer had made to our timetable has changed back. So actually, my practical was in the morning, and the lecture was back to 1pm. So die la, I missed my practical.

I went to school for one 2-hour lecture. Great. What a fuckin waste of time. But I did learn something, so not so wasted afterall. Sigh, look at me, I'm contridicting myself.

I need to sleep.

I can't wait to tell Bizhen I've got the limited edition crystal XBox. He keeps putting down the dreamcast I already have.

XBox: $400
Halo2: $60

Price on Bizhen's face when I tell him the news: priceless.

Thank you SCV.

I also finally caught 'Connie & Carla' last night on my brother's network. It's a great show, ya'll should catch it. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, watch 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy'. It's a total waste of time. I loved Will Farrell in 'Elf'. But 'Anchorman' is a total bust. Yea, there were some funny parts, but overall, the movie's just stupid. Watch it only if you're really that bored.
